Halloween 9 Plot??
 

Hey, Does anyone know if they have decided on a plot for Halloween 9 yet?? I hope they come up with something to tie everything together!! Isn't good old Mr. Myers supposed to hunt down family? Well what about Jamie's baby he never got his hands on in part 6??? Give your info or opinions!!! Thanks!

THE NINTH INSTALLMENT OF THIS CLASSIC FRANCHISE IS GOING TO BE EITHER ''NIGHTMARE ON HALLOWEEN'' A MICHAEL VS. FREDDY MOVIE OR MICHAEL VS. PINHEAD ONE OF THE TWO.

If either of those were true (which I hope to hell they're not), that is not good news.

I haven't heard that rumor yet which to me isn't good news at all if it is true. I heard they might remake part 3. Which I don't know which would be worst??? Ugh! Then I also heard they are remaking part 1..Which I really don't think should be touched at all!. There are so many diff rumors but I don't think any of those are true at least I hope not..I honestly wish they would pick up the pieces from part 6 and go from there.....

I'm with you Vampyra, go back and finish the plotlines from 4, 5, and 6.

I have heard about that trailer to Michael Myers vs. Pinhead and it's fake dude. No trailer will show footage of old films all the way through it. If they are making one or the other...why is there trailers for BOTH films? New Line owns Freddy. Dimension owns Halloween. Won't happen. Had something like this been able to happen then Freddy vs. Jason would have been out YEARS ago. The companies can't work together on something like that. Won't happen. If there is another vs. Movie will be will Freddy vs. Jason 2. No Ash. No Michael Myers, No Pinhead. Just Freddy and Jason. As far as Michael Myers goes....NOTHING is set in stone until it is posted on http://www.halloweenmovies.com when there is something to say about Michael Myers they are very prompt with it. If nothing is going on...no updates.

I don't wanna see another "versus" movie for awhile, unless it's "Freddy VS Jason 2". I also don't wanna see any remakes either. Is this "Halloween 9" just speculation, or is it a done deal?

I'd like to see them bring Jamie's son into the series.. They left him as a baby now they can bring him in either as child,teen or in early adulthood..I'm looking forward to seeing what Halloween 9 will be like and about...

I hope the plot revolves more around the thorn storyline, Halloween 6 was the most interesting Halloween for me. It added more depth to Michael and made for a better movie.

Yeah, #6 was the best one IMO as well. "Resurrection" pretty much ended the story though, unless they bring back Jamie's child as someone else mentioned. It'll definitely interesting to see what they come up with. Movie should be awesome.

Let me start by saying that if they make a Michael myers vs. anyone movie i will be extremely dissapointed!! I agree also with everyone that said they should pick up on the thorn/Jamie's baby storyline and try to tie all the loose ends up. I know there were definately talks of another installment, I guess with all the horror movies coming out lately they are gonna try to cash in, i just hope they put some effort!!!

I'm all for the "Jaimie's baby" storyline, but I noticed no one has mentioned Laurie's son from H20! There are two heirs to the Myers throne. They never mentioned what happened to him either. Maybe they could bring both back in 9!?!

My friend and I always think about sequels, and where they should go, and they could make a few movies about Laurie's son.


They could also do the Jamie's baby storyline, and do more with the Tommy Doyle character, even though it was screwed with in Curse.

That would be awsome if Jamie's baby came back to kick michels ass, I could see it now. Jamie's son- "You killed my father and my mother you sum bitch!!"

I'd love to see Jamie's son in the next plot.. Seems like all I ever hear on other sites is about Lauries son John..blah..I'm kind of bored with him. His char was rather dull. I think since Jamie's son was only a baby we have no idea what he would act like, be like or even look like. It would start a whole new page in the Halloween series.

Am i the only person extremely po'd with laurie's death in resurrection? the only way for halloween 9 to be good would be if laurie didnt die, which i dont have a clue how it would be done. for my birthday last year i got the halloween boxset, and then a couple of days later went to see resurrection. boy was i disappointed- laurie was killed within in the first 10 minutes. that made me completetly hate halloween 9 and then the next day i took my boxset back and got it refunded. i know it sounds dramatic but imo the halloween series has gone down the toilet!

jus because laurie died doesnt mean that the new halloween isnt goin to b good because if i recall she wasnt in the curse and that one iz my favorite halloween movie along with alot of other people

i do really like some of tha halloween films taht laurie isnt in. what i meant was from the original film, michaels main target has gone, so i dont see no point in another film becos resurection suckesd, so the life of teh halloween filmshas ended.

They made more Halloween movies after 6? I haven't heard of these.

Whoa buddy, calm yourself. Not only was Laurie's death shocking, but it closed that chapter. IMO it was a good thing. We can't keep seeing the same ol' thing again and again. That gets boring as hell. I can't wait for #9.

In the directors cut michael is Jamie's son's father. He fucked Jamie:rolleyes:

I believe him too, now that I see that! Did they release a director's cut of it? If not, how did ya find out?! But I guess it would be possible cause they had her for several years. No, that p*ssed me off too, but I still watch them cause everyone is right, there have been several without her, and she was already suppose to be dead anyway if memory serves me right!
Besides, I was pretty p*ssed off that they continued the series after the sad loss of Donald Pleasence, but I still watch them cause they are as close to scary as it gets anymore. And, most people just love Michael Myers!
Not really! That group that Michael works for (kinda) is REALLY into evil, and what better way is there to continue the evil? Having Michael breed gives them a possible heir to Michael's throne when and if he ever dies.....or is somehow destroyed!

i know this thread is dead and gone but after i've picked up some experience with horror i'd like to apologize for what i think was only one of my first five post i had been watching horror long before that but was'nt really to knowlegdeful about it.

my brother was the one who broke the news to me that HALLOWEEN 9 was going to be released this summer...i literally wanted to cry! they have so ruined this american classic by dragging it's style and unique-ness through hollywood's big city, greedy, no good, mud!
9 sequels and each new one is worse than the last. take the 1st or the 2nd-put them up against 6 or h2o or that ungodly resurrection. NOOOO way. No competition. it's just bad. why not make quality sequels if we have to have them. i'm sorry but freddy vs jason?! outrageously BAD! if they just had to make that movie couldn't they have found SOMEONE, ANYONE who could F*CKING act?! i've seen unknowns do a better job. the "actors" who actually got paid for making that trash should be ashamed of themselves for taking the money. these were kids who were already in the business and known.

You must be the dumbest guy in this thread, Freddy vs Jason was one of the best horror flicks ever made. The actors were good, but the guy who played Will could not act. And all the halloween movies were good except for number 3. Michael Myers is the best and he is better than freddy or jason
