3 things
 

So now that I'm back full time, I've got a couple of things I want to accomplish.

1.) I'm currently in the middle of prettifying the first 2 HDC 100s lists. As I was going through, I couldn't help but get a sense of nostalgia. Do you guys feel the original HDC Top 100 still stands the test of time?

2.) We still need blurbs. Blurbs are up for grabs for anyone. PM me if you want them. I'll get them up promptly, I promise.

3.) There'll be a new project rolling around soon. It's NOT another Top 100, but it's huge, and we'll need as many contributors as possible. I've already talked to __V__, and after his much deserved break we'll be rolling it out in full force. Keep it in the back of your mind. You might get hit up for some writing sooner than you expect;)

God dammit I hate the way anything exciting to do with V always makes up wait! GRrrrrrrr

1) I think there are 1-2 contenders which have sprung up in the meantime. But overall as a core, yes...it's still pretty good.

2) Do you still have my PM requesting blurbs? I ll have to rummage through the 100 again, if you havent.

3) 2009 is gonna be a busy year! ;)

I don't see your PM. There are still 2-3 in the original top 100 that need blurbs! Newbies, this is a chance to be a part of old school HDC history! Hit those blurbs up!

I was curious about the original 100 because once or twice a year someone seems to offer up the idea of changing it. Don't get me wrong, I will probably never change the original, but I could be persuaded to add a yearly appendix to coincide with new releases.

As far as 2009 goes, you have NO idea;)

Since it's both __V__ and myself (btw, we've never worked together on a project) I need to wait to see when we can reveal its true nature. Oh the suspense:D

i'll gladly do some if and when i get my stupid painful shoulder harness off - i'm getting better at typing with my left hand but i dream of a day when i have both hands free (and my sex life returns)

I don't want to come off the wrong way in what i'm about to say,i hope i really don't.Sometimes i feel like 90% of us are pretty useless to the forum.Its like anything BIG,NEW,or EXCITING is only the idea of like 2 or 3 members.I'm not saying its a bad thing and i know anyone has the right to give their ideas and opinions.Think about it though,how many ideas really go that far if its not that of an "important" member.I give V alot of credit,he obviously cares a great deal about our forum.I have no cool ideas and i really don't offer much help because i know that theres not much i can do.I'm not trying to rain on anyones parade or anything,just something that has been on my mind.Carry on...

It's actually all about just stepping up and doing it. Anyone here who has the time and the patience to do a project would have the groups support as long as they followed through.

It's not about the popularity, it's about being able to tolerate the tediousness.

So many lists anyone would think we're geeks or something :D
