Ok. So basically this is pretty much the same concept as the "Most scary horror character" thread.
Yes, i know what you're thinking. This could be one of the greatest threads ever!!! I guess this could be another way to to inspire people to go watch horror movies they've never heard of or never bothered to see. So here's my contribution to my own thread... The final scene in Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom left a scar on me like no other film was able to do. Fuck vampires, fuck zombies, fuck slashers- the definition of terror and cruelty is framed with horrifying realism in the last moments of this already demented film.

I think taking them out of context of the entire film will lessen their impact.

the old man in the elevator in the Eye (chinese) the facehugger jumping out at John Hurt in alien the people coming across the lawn to the house in The Others the 2 jump scenes in The Exorcist III (in the hall, and the old lady with the shears the chandelier falling at the camera in The Changeling thats all i can think of |

the movie was PULSE and a young man is in a very dark room with a ghost moving at him all weird then he falls behind a chair and the ghost pops up over him !!! scared me ! LOL . :eek:
