Replace A Character Game
 

If you could take one actor from a movie and replace him/her with another actor whom you think would have been much more suitable for the role, who would it be and why?


I would (if he was still living of course) replace Keanu Reeves with Brandon Lee in the Matrix. I think Keanu is one of the most lifeless and miserable to watch actors out there, and Brandon could've owned that role.

replace robert eglund with vince vaughan in the nightmare on elm street series. a very drunk vince vaughan

Replace Adam Sandler with ANYBODY in his roles.

i didnt like adam sandler in the few times i saw him in SNL - but i really dont think he's a bad actor - i was impressed by Click.

Will Farrel i used to hate - then i started to like him, now i'm sick of him.

He's just rehashing the same character

i think he peaked in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I liked him in Stranger Than Fiction, but I would like to replace him in a few movies where he does indeed play similar characters. I think he's capable of more but there's that one side of him that seems to really rake in the dough.

Not a remake fan but since they went and did it.....I would replace Julia Stiles in the Omen remake.

speaking of Adam Sandler and remakes.....c'mon...him playing the Burt Reynolds role in the remake of "The Longest Yard".
Jason Statham would have fit that role nicely

I don't know who to replace him with, but somebody else in DiCaprio's role in Gangs of New York would have been far better.

As for the Will Ferrel conversation I hated him on SNL, but I actually find him quite charming in his movies (Elf, Stranger than Fiction, and even Bewitched is a fantastically guilty pleasure movie).

As for actor replacements, I find it strange that Woody Allen is constantly looking for actors to replace him in his own films; Kenneth Branagh in Celebrity, Jason Biggs in Anything Else. I think that Matthew Broderick would do a pretty good anxious guy and fill those shoes a little bit better.

Right off the top of my head I would have liked to seen James Woods replaced in John Carpenters Vampires.dont get me wrong I think he's a great actor they could have just found somebody more suited for that role.

Put jack nicholson in the role of the camera holder in,cloverfield.He would look at the camera every now and then.

Replace Hilary Swank with anyone else in the horror that was The Black Dahlia.
