I got:
Pirates 3 Dracula (1992) A dvd player 25$ for itunes Flannel sheets a bible (my dad's like that) A huge scented candle that smells like the ocean an Ihome from my grandparents 125$ from my aunt and uncle. I'm satisfied |
Opened a few just now, and one was a portable 500 watt halogen flood light. Went outside in the dark and woke up the neighbour hood with the brightness! :D and sheeesh it gets hot :eek:

The wife made me a shirt - a crazy black and white floral print done cowboy style with a yoke across the front and back. It's super-flashy/trashy and I love it!
My mom gave me a painting she made for me, a dia de los meurtos-style ornate skull. She usually paints plates and cups and other "practical" items, but this was art for art's sake (something she never does) and it made me really happy. She also gave me a cookbook she put together with all the old family recipes in it...made me cry a little $$$ Some really cool cast iron cookware (I'm a bit of a foodie) |

I'm a HUGE fan of her work and I'm hoping to collect more of her prints. :) My friend Kevin got me Tara McPheron's book, Lonely Heart: The Art of Tara McPherson Gift Certificates (from my dearest Mum): Moodz, my hair salon (I need a trim and color update) Sonoma, a very lucious romantic restaurant (will probably use on our 1-year anniversary). DVDs (from my old friend Adam, who seems to know me better than my own family): Battlestar Galactica: Razor Arenic and Old Lace All and all, honestly, not to be selfish, but this was a relatively disappointing Christmas. I was hoping for my usual bunch of books and graphic novels, but, alas... Oh, well. I'll steal the lot that my boyfriend got. :rolleyes: *jealous* |
I got a painting last year I picked froma show, I think it is amazing, it was $170 Australian, I think it will be worth a lot more one day... The artist has tunnel vision, I don't have it with me , but will put up a picture of it next time I get the chance to take one.
