Spartans vs. Spartans

I read this comic today and it got me wondering. Who would win in a fight, The Spartans from 300 or The Spartans from Halo? and whyyyy?

I presonally am going to go for the Halo Spartans. As awesome as the 300 Spartans are, the Halo guys have guns. Hard to beat guns with spears.

reallly hope this doesn't get too confusing.

We're all geeks. What about tactics though. The 300 Spartans had some pretty good ideas, while the Halo spartans' logic is based on shooting and fragging.

not a gamer, eh? You could most definately run out of spears. Spears are harder to carry anyway and can't match the velocity of bullets. At least not if they're thrown by a person.

The 300 Spartans also had swords, so how would they fair against an energy sword?

Technology beats skill. case in point, a team of navy seals could get wiped out by a monkey with a nuke.


Despite the power and skill of the greek spartans, spears swords and shields are no match for ballistic armor and assault rifles.


Hence why we use ballistic armor and assault rflies these days, not spears and shields.
