I had an easy time voting for best comic to screen adaptation but had a really hard time with best screen to comic adaptation. Ended up voting for AoD but it was close. I'm also excited to find out who wins for Best Comic Book Artist.

I was hoping Frank Miller gets that one, hes a former student at my school so I hope he gets it.

Frank was nominated for best comic book writer if I'm not mistaken. He is one of my favourites though, so I also hope he wins. I actually have no doubt that he will.

This is after all,for Spike not for Lifetime where some namby pamby fancypants comic artist would win.

I'm sorry I love Miller alot, but I gotta go with Either Ennis for The Boys, Or Bendis for Powers. Two of my most loved comics........ I just don't know which one to choose.....

Edit: ok I went with Ennis, I love The Boys, its soo twisted.... but why the hell wasn't Jay Lee up for comic artist???

Ok and now im done.... I had to go with them killing off cap for the last category... seriously... I still cannot believe that they killed Cap.... I mean cmon, especially with the war going on, but then again that may have been a sort of message about the war too, heard some people discussing it. But what the F@$#, No more Steve Rogers in the Marvel Universe?? How the hell does that work?

I think it's bold, revolutionary statement about the way things are. It took guts for Marvel to say that things are oppressive enough that the American dream can't stand up to the kind of corruption in today's world. It's a tragic thing, but I think it really serves the message.

I see what you mean, and I agree with it to a point. But I still think that a marvel pulled an asshole-ish move by doing that. But hey they own the Cap so what can I say?
