No horror movie is scary to me:(
 

Picture this i've just sat down about to watch my 200th horror film the past 199 weren't scary so i sit down to watch Slither and to my "sarcastic astonishment" it was just as "unscary" as the others:mad: , could anybody outhere help me with this, i hate watching horror films and not jumping at certain bits in the film:eek: please help me! alright i'm out peace!

Watch Showgirls.It will scare the shit out of you.

Alot of films are just too predictable, I guess. I know a few films that I have watched over and over again and certain scenes STILL make me jump, although I know what's coming!

In "The Others", its when the door gets slammed in Kidman's face. In "The Exorcist III", its when the killer, wielding a big knife, suddenly appears behind a nurse. That scene builds up because the nurse is freaked out by funny noises and you expect something to happen when she opens ward doors. And it's done from afar, not close up - maybe thats a technique that works.

I suppose its the way it can lead up to a *jumpy* bit - a creepy, suspenseful, drawn out sequence of events, before the big scare??

So....... all films should use the same technique! :D

I think he just hasn't seen anything scary enough. A few people have reactions like that to horror movies. Maybe we should bring up movies that we were legitimately frightened by.
