bloody_ribcut 05-01-2007 05:11 PM

Indeed. The place I bought it from is also tossing in a free casket.

bwind22 05-01-2007 05:19 PM

???

Why do you need 3 hearses & a casket?

Good for you :)...We can get really good deals on 'em HERE, too...Myke had a really nice one for a long time, but he sold it when gas prices went up because it ate a lot of gas :(

Oh come on!...EVERYONE needs a casket!

You'll need one someday, too ;)

Oh and having 3 hearses comes in handy (if they're compatible) for parts...Because parts and repairs on a hearse are EXPENSIVE

I actually have a 4th one and a fake casket as well. As for my reason, I want one to drive and they all need a little work. I paid less for all 3 than I did for my 1996 Ford Explorer and they all run. One of them's engine is knocking though. Otherwise, great shape.

@BR
I thought about that, but I was going to buy a hyped up muscle car instead, but thought about it, and they drink about the same amount of gas.

Drive them.

bwind22 05-01-2007 05:24 PM

So 1 is to drive & the rest are for parts? And they all cost the same as a car would have?

*shrug*

I guess that makes sense then as long as you have a place to store 4 hearses. lol Are the caskets just decoration?

Well, my mom wants one to drive as well. And we have 38 acres, so we have plenty of space. And the casket I have now is. The one we are getting tomorrow is a real one.

@Bloody
We may. The one I already had was a 1949 model like the one in Dead End.

Damn, that's a big yard. You could store a couple hundred hearses if you needed to.

But what do you use the caskets (real or fake) for? Just for looks? Props? Do you sleep in them? Do you leave them in the back of the hearse while you drive around? I'm just curious.

Knowing me, I'd sleep in them if I could. But, we use them for Halloween props and sometimes driving around with them just to freak people out.

phantomstranger 05-01-2007 08:45 PM

Well...you'll get a smooth ride that's for sure. Are they Cadillac's?

AmericanManiac 05-02-2007 03:20 AM

you are a freak! :D :D If I were you I would sleep in the casket, by the way is that big fire by you guys ?

bloody_ribcut 05-02-2007 07:16 AM

Or a funeral parlor....And I have four, not three.

Nikkif8 05-02-2007 09:43 AM

Thats awesome. I have always wanted a hearse. My friend was going to get one and pimp it all out. Not sure if he did or not yet, plus he has a hard core band and I just think that would be sweet for them to pack into. You as well with your band!!! Lets see some pics!

They're kind of dusty at the moment. I'm going to wash them and then I will post some pics. My band is going to flip out when they see it.

Shadow 05-02-2007 11:16 AM

Oh imagine showing up to a gig with the band in a hearse. How cool. I wanna hearse, now i'm jealous. As for the coffin my dad made me one 2 years ago for a Halloween prop but how cool a real one. Nice.

*green with envy*

novadawn969 05-02-2007 10:06 PM

That's pretty awesome...
How fast does it drive. (Sorry, I'm a speed demon :D)
My ma asked if you were a big Harold and Maude fan...
I'm inspired though.
And if you have a real casket, you should so sleep in it.
Hmmm... question.
Do you know if it's comfortable???
Never really thought of that before.

I was driving 60 behind my dad in his pick-up truck and he was outrunning me....I didn't want to get pulled over or I'd have gone faster...It was a 45 zone. :D

And I really have no idea who that is that you just mentioned...

I don't know if it's comfortable. Never tried it. lol

ferretchucker 05-03-2007 04:48 AM

one for your mother in law
.
one for your boss.

one for the bank manager who won't give you a loan.

Shadow 05-03-2007 04:58 AM

Lol
Why would a casket need to be comfortable, its not like the users really care. lol

ferretchucker 05-03-2007 06:02 AM

When I die, I wanna be buried alone, no coffin, no gravestone. The land is for the living and shouldn't be filled with corpses in boxes more comfortable than my bed!
