Setting an avatar pic...
 
What the fuck? Why is this so difficult for me? I'm trying to put up a pic from my "mypictures" folder... First it told me that the file was too large, so I resized it and saved it and now it tells me that I have an invalid file type! What do I need to do to put in a damned avatar?

How many pixels by how many pixels is it? What size? Post it to photbucket and link it here so we can see.

It's now down to 26X41 pixels. It's tiny. I don't feel like messing with photobucket, I just want to know how to get it in to be my avatar...

That's what I've been fucking doing! It is now telling me that it is "not a valid image file"!!!!!! I have it saved in "my photos", for fuck's sake!!!!!!!

Try the little paperclip in the advanced posting area, should let you add an attachment.

First of all, .bmps aren't compatible with this forum, they never were, not even before the stupid upgrades...
