So...What's Everyone Doing With Their Tax Refund?
We're going to get a bunch of new horror movies...AND...We're getting THIS:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ne/ccp-blk.jpg I like this black one Thanks Newb ;) |
hmmm......tough one...The wife wants the hardwood floors refinished...I want a new computer.
I'm sure the floors will look nice:( |

Did you know this thing just plugs into a regular outlet?...It has a cabinet to put all of your popcorn making supplies in it, too...We're gonna put it in the diningroom |
i think ours is going into savings. It should (Hopefully) be a beast this year.

The more you make, the more they take...And KEEP When we hit the $70,000s (with my exhusband), we barely got anything at all back...Meanwhile, all of our friends who didn't make as much were getting at LEAST 4 times more than us back...No kidding OH...And for state...we got $2.49...That was pretty funny Anyway...If you claim 0 on your paychecks through the year...You ALWAYS get at least something back, because they take out the maximum amount they can from every check...So, when you file for your normal amount of dependants, you always have a plus balance...That's what we do to make sure that we never owe :) |
they take out the absolute max for me, almost 30% of each paycheck goes to taxes and benefits.

But, you don't get much of it back...Your 'tax liability' increases quite a bit with each new tax bracket you hit |
Another fun part about being a writer: the deductions
I get to write off every movie, comic book, cable bill, internet costs etc because they are all "research materials" When I was acting, I could write off massages and spa treatments. I'll probably spend the refund on a Disneyland or Six Flags day with the kids...now if I just write something set in a theme park then the tickets and meals would be deductions too. |

You need to get someone ELSE to prepare your taxes... |

Pair of Saints season tickets.
Get a tattoo. I also might take a trip back to Chicago, nice place from what I saw the couple of days I was there last week. |

I really need Ghosthouse (Lenzi) but I can't make myself pay $20 (I DID pay $20 for Bette Davis's 'The Nanny'...I waited forever on that one and finally gave in)...I keep waiting for the price to come down |

Either a black scorpion or a Saints logo. I only have 2 at the moment and want a bit more. I've got no control over what trip we're taking or where we stop of course(women:rolleyes: ) but I will eventually be going to Chicago again and I'd have no problem coming through. |

Just let me know when you plan to head up this way :) OH, think you'll finally post some pictures when you get your tattoo?..*nudge* |

Sure, I've got no problem posting my right bicep. |

omcdave is a low-life who buys a winning lottery ticket, only to get hit by a car, losing the ticket in the process. He then realizes in the hospital that his bad luck is the result of karma in which fate punishes him for all the rotten things he's ever done in his life; therefore, he then decides to dedicate his life to making amends to all the people he has hurt in his life.Including master.
(just kidding) |

Anyway, you can cheer up now Dave...Cuz I hit a snag... GRRR...And looking at all these diner pictures is making me HUNGRY!!!! |
How about one of those refrigerated canned drink dispensers. I saw one of these recently at a party...small refrigerated box with four or five different kinds of canned sodas inside. You press a button and the drink of your choice drops down a chute and goes ka-chunk! in the bottom.
This looked like it probably cost a couple hundred dollars but it was really cool! Sits on a tabletop, next to your chips and dips or whatever you like... |
I don't want to hear`about tax, it's not for an other 6 months!
|
After extensive research and much consideration, we will NOT be making fountain drinks at our home any time soon...
I had NO idea it would be such a pain in the ass...Forget about the PRICE, that isn't even HALF the issue, actually it means nothing compared to everything else... So many warnings about leaking CO2 suffocating your family, CO2 coming into contact with copper (including brass) tubes, pipes or fittings that can poison and/or KILL you if ingested, CO2 nozzles being easily snapped off causing the canister to shoot across the house through walls and injuring and/or killing people...The installation to your water line...the hook ups...keeping the generator and mixer going...ordering some supplies that can only be found online because companies don't usually wanna deliver to a HOME rather than a business...calibrating the mix and the CO2 with a brix cup... NEVER FUCKING MIND...I didn't want it that damned bad in the first place..I just thought it would be fun...And this shit does NOT sound anything like FUN... |
I'm thinking about using my tax return to hire a hitman to deal with BigJohn(and his other aliases)
|
I know carbonated beverage making has been ruled out. I know that. But I wanted to mention, some years back, I dunno if they make these still--I knew someone with a little mini water carbonator. It had a little CO2 thing, you poured some tap water into a little reservoir, and then you pressed a button and it would go "SSSPPPHHHAAARRRRRPPPPPPLOW! Bup, bup, bup, bup, bup" and pump out some carbonated water. Then you could add some syrup from one of several bottles you could get, and create a Coke or a 7Up or a Dr. Pepper or whatever you had the syrup for.
It was cool and also lame at the same time, and the coolness and lameness balanced out with each other and the coolness/lameness ratio became neutral. |
I hope to have enough left after Rayne finishes having her 'ideas' to get some recording equipment. But, she DOES have some good ideas.
Yes, she IS sitting here :p |
That Bloodrayne. She does a good job of controlling.....the forum.
We woould never say anything bad about.....Bloodrayne. |

goth-denial
he he he hee hee hee (insert witch cackle)! |
i dream of the day when my tax return doesn't have to immediately go to paying off some credit card or loan or something. . . i never even get to hold the check for more than a minute before its gone . . .
still, perpetual poverty is better than goth-denial, right?? |
