Woo Woo... spook-a-doo ..........

when GHOSTS howl in tyour house at night they sound very eerie, very unearthly. some people have ghosts that are OFTEN making weird and spooky noises that asometimes sound like (for example)

"WOO WOO......SPOOK-A-DOO...spook-a-doo, whoop-de-doo! OOOOWWEEEOOO"

like that.

Miss Olivia 01-18-2007 10:04 AM

That's exactly what my downstairs neighbor sounds like when she's having sex.

crabapple 01-18-2007 10:13 AM

HMM wait a minute...maybe those aren't ghosts I'm hearing at all!

Hmmmmmm I better listen to that yowling again.

This thread is not really about ghosts....this thread is actually all about SLEEP DEPRIVATION. Meaning, this is the kind of stuff I write when I've had very little sleep.

Roderick Usher 01-18-2007 12:54 PM

I've got one in my place. It's a little boy, but he's harmless. Spooks the shit out of me from time to time.

Hell you and me alike.
I find that because of my long nights of studys etc..
my bodys time clock is all out of whack.
I can only fall asleep now during the day
and spend the nights watching movies or reading.

the_real_linda 01-18-2007 02:09 PM

yeah mine too....tis okies tho.....just hard when you have lectures early in the morning

crabapple 01-18-2007 02:24 PM

Probably just in my head, but on four seperate occasions I've thought one of my kids was behind me or standing up on the stairs and when I turn to address my kid - there's just a shape that instantly evaporates.

One time I saw him in the kitchen and I could almost make out a face. Allways gets my heart racing.

But nothing moves or creaks or any of that shit and no one else in the house has seen him, so...

Probably all just in my head. I thought about researching the history of the building, but decided to just let it be.

crabapple 01-18-2007 02:50 PM

Ohhh...that gives me the tingles.

Haunted 01-18-2007 03:23 PM

Maybe you just seem to be a "father figure" to him, and he likes you. How old is your son? Because if he's upwards around 9 and getting older, it could actually be his own projection. It may never manifest as an actual poltergiest, but rather he has a very powerful imagination, much like his father.

One's 9 one's 3

And the shape I keep seeing is the same size as my eldest, but the hair's all wrong.

crabapple 01-18-2007 04:07 PM

Do you ever get a glimpse of the hairstyle, and does it seem contemporary? Or any sense of clothing the figure is wearing?

Any strange impressions from out of nowhere of who it is, what type of person it is, etc.?

How old is the structure you're living in?

stubbornforgey 01-18-2007 04:09 PM

Oh wow..
Now Roderick ..that is chilling and yet..amazing

Roderick Usher 01-18-2007 04:17 PM

the hair is short but that's as detailed as I can get.

I'm sure it's my imagination running wild... but it does give me the creeping willies when it happens

stubbornforgey 01-18-2007 04:21 PM

I bet it does.
The other morning my alarm went off .
Anyways i was about to get up and turn it off when my girl let out an
almighty scream.
Apparently she saw me standing by the bedroom door and was about to
tell me to hurry up and turn it off ..when i sat up in my bed.
There was no ghost..it was my mum coming in to turn it off for me.
Not as intriguing as yours but still. :o

aw i used to feel so sorry for scooby and shaggy cos they
never seem to finish thier food.:o :(

Elvis_Christ 01-19-2007 12:52 AM

Scooby would always tax Shaggy's sandwhich everytime.

Haunted 01-19-2007 04:46 AM

You are all aware that the man who created Scooby-Doo died last month, right? Was he mentioned here?

I do hope we aren't poo-pooing on Rod's experiences, because certain people don't believe in those experiences. Never seen a ghost or some other type of phantasm? That's fine, but you really can't tell someone who has that they actually haven't. That would be like me telling a woman she couldn't possibly have had an orgasm because I've never had one. Silly isn't it.

crabapple 01-19-2007 06:37 AM

Oh not at all. If anything we are expounding on the different perceptions of ghostly things both in real life and the media, and singing of it all with a dollop of good humor, which is a good thing! What better way to approach one of the world's great mysteries...

stygianwitch 01-19-2007 10:28 AM

Rod have you ever talked to your ghost, you know just asked it something as if it was one of the boys? You may even get a response & find out who he is

Miss Olivia 01-19-2007 11:24 AM

Yes, ask him what he wants, and if he answers, "TRIX!!!" then you know it's just that silly rabbit again.

crabapple 01-19-2007 11:27 AM

This thread is sure giving me the creeps!

Miss Olivia 01-19-2007 11:37 AM

Well, I guess that's better than giving you the craps:p
