ICE! Falling from the sky!

It's chilly and hailing here in LA!

My three year-old thinks it's snow.:) He wanted to go play in it, so I took him outside. A few pebble-sized shots to the face later and he was ready to head back to safety.

What the weather like where you live?

Vodstok 12-27-2006 01:19 PM

Funny the difference the Merrimack river makes...

We got snow last week.

Despare 12-27-2006 01:27 PM

I'm hoping we get a lot of snow, from Jan. 1st until Apr. 1st.

VampiricClown 12-27-2006 01:28 PM

Psh, it never snows here. It's stupid sunshine and cold breeze.

Haunted 12-27-2006 01:51 PM

The South... warm for a few days and then chilly for a few days...repeat process.

The_Return 12-27-2006 02:13 PM

Really unseasonal here...fairly warm and lots of rain.

Probably what most people would consider "holiday weather"

neverending 12-27-2006 03:23 PM

Rain off & on... typically dreary... fairly warm though. Jacket weather.

stygianwitch 12-28-2006 01:17 PM

it's been very cold and unusually foggy here in the UK, a lot of the airports were closed down for a few days because ground visibility was so bad the planes weren't able to taxi safely once on the ground

it's been better the last couple of days, cold but sunny.... that sun is so low in the sky tho it blinds you whetehr on foot or driving :(

hey i'm english... we can talk about the weather ad nauseum :)

It got crazy here last night. Gale force winds knocked over several trees (which crushed a couple of cars on my block) and scattered roofing tiles all over the streets.

We lost power for 14 hours. The kids woke up in technology withdrawal - it ws rather funny. After a couple of hours they were giggling and playing wih legos while I read 50 pages of my new Neil Gaiman book.

Kind of hope it happens again tonight!
