This is really whacky...but I think their Dracula kit is kinda cool!

crabapple 12-27-2006 08:59 AM

Okay, well, it's 525 dollars. Well, for that price, I guess it better be good!

It's not as cool as those zombie-flavored hot sauces at hauntedhotsauce.com perhaps...you might get just as much of a thrill out of one of their $20 hot sauce coffins...

But man. That Dracula kit, it comes with a wooden stake and a hammer and a thing you can hang your garlic on! in addition to all the other stuff. It has two crucifixes inside, so if you are punking a biotch vampire and you lose your crucifix, you have a backup.

Haunted 12-27-2006 09:02 AM

Crab, baby, don't encourage the spammers, 'kay? The reason is, the more they come the more we start to run out of creative ideas to let them know that they suck.:D You're an angel.

Roderick Usher 12-27-2006 09:04 AM

how about an ad for the same thing, only cheaper

http://209.35.192.184/miva/merchant....Store_Code=DSP

scrool through, these guys sell zombies and vampire slaying kits, but my fav is the fetus in a petri dish

urgeok 12-27-2006 09:06 AM

if you say it fast - it sounds like :

"dracula's door is open"

would have made for a better thread.

you just owned the spammer in his own game.

crabapple 12-27-2006 09:35 AM

Well hey, I did give haunted hot sauce a plug. But really, yeah, Di Stefano's $70 vampire hunter's kit is much nicer looking. These Dracula guys should make a similar kit to appeal to people who want to buy something in that price range. I mean, how many people have 500 dollars to spend on a bells-and-whistles vampire hunter's kit.

Haunted 12-27-2006 09:49 AM

I have to take back what I said. You guys have really taken a combative stance against the enemy. Marketing... I like it. The flaming sword of righteousness...

My heroes...:)

why would anyone want a vampire hunters kit ?

to show your friends ?

"hey guys look what i bought !"

"what is it?"

"you know ....its a vampire hunters kit"

"oh yeah ? wow. I dont want to see you around anymore."

Vodstok 12-27-2006 10:12 AM

"Why a vampire hunter's kit?"

"Umm, well... Ilike vampires..."

"Then why kill them?"

"well, they arent real,youknow."

"I know, so why the kit?"

"Umm..."

"Are you making a movie and it's for props?"

"No..."

"Hmm... Are you an avid collector?"

"Not really..."

"Oh. Hmm. how much did it cost?"

"......"

"Because i can get most of that stuff at home depot. i have friend who works there, we could use his employee discount...."

"Shut up."

draculastore 12-27-2006 12:50 PM

Dear forum members, I want to say a few things about the Dracula Kit and it's price: is a genuine creation, everything is hand-made and it comes with lots of products. If you consider Dracula culture only the objects in it, please consider so ... but it is much more than this - the kit is more than an object - it is an encyclopedia of Dracula - it contains brochures, DVD with Dracula documentary and 30 hand made engravings. More ... if you consider the thing that this item needs approval for export from the state authority - because it is considered an art object - divide the price for every item and I think you will discover that who wants to buy it doesn't spend so much - considering its cultural value.

Please review the item at http://www.DraculaStore.eu

Greetings!

neverending 12-27-2006 01:06 PM

Hi draculastore. You say the kit includes candles made of "natural cortex." What is this, exactly? Most of the sources I can find say it is some kind of muscle tissue or even brain tissue. If this is so, what kind of creature does this tissue come from? Is it like, from virgins that Dracula ensanguinated, or is it from som unfortunate cat or dog, or what? Whatever it is, it sounds stinky.

Can you give me some info here?

The Mothman 12-27-2006 01:23 PM

dracula culture??

there are some strange people in this world.

Vodstok 12-27-2006 01:30 PM

wow, no offence buddy, but the site design is painful. How much was spent on the flash animation? a few static images would serve you much better.

urgeok 12-27-2006 01:53 PM

i think i'll just wait for the mummy unwrapping kit to become available.

crabapple 12-27-2006 01:55 PM

No really, in regards to what Dracula Guy posted, I don't doubt that the kit is cool. It has cerebral cortex candles...I mean, it's complete. I just think they could come up with a baby version for about $125.00 and market that too. The really pricey one I imagine will bring in only a few customers and they could clean up with the baby version. Then both levels of audience would be satisfied, and they make more money to boot.

I think too, similar to that "Vampire Wine" product that came out a while back, they could devise a product like "Blood of Dracula," which could be a vodka, maybe a flavored vodka with spices, but red, deep red. It could have Christopher Lee's picture on it. I would buy that.

If anyone is curious - consult this link:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cortex

- because english is different for some people... whatever...

Regarding your opinions - what can I say ... everyone has the right to an opinion - but this thing doesn't mean that he's right

Anyway - good luck with your kitschy opinions !
