Brain Damage Films AVOID

Never see any film produced by Brain Damage Films unless its the Traces of Death series ( if your into that kinda stuff ;) ). All of their films suck. I recently saw "The Zombie Chronicles" heres the plot an old guy tells a lady stories with bad actors getting torn apart while wondering around a forest.   They also produced one of the worst horror movies ever made (CHECK IMDB!) its a sequal to the classic "I Spit on your Grave".
It has some of the worst 3D effects ever. In conclusion AVOID BRAIN DAMAGE FILMS!

Come on, now. How could anyone not want to watch Kottentail?

From IMDB:
Quote:

The "Overlook Animal Research Laboratory" has long been working on genetic engineering without any trouble. That all changes one night when two would be animal liberators set free a test rabbit, not knowing that the bunny's genes have gone haywire. On the loose, the vicious little beast soon attacks a farmer - Hans Kottentail. Hans quickly begins to change. He grows fur, eats veggies and... hops. It isn't long before murderous a rage overtakes poor Hans and he begins picking off townsfolk at a rapid pace. It's up to 5 local women, each with ties to the case, to bring him down before he kills them all.

horrible backyard uninspired non-film

Thats kind of the point for Brain Damage. Getting most of the films that people think suck out to see if anyone else might like them. At least they are giving people a chance and distributing work that might never be seen

But most of them do suck if you are looking for a "real"movie to watch

i picked up a mag today and it had a full page ad for brain damage films and the covers look fucking terrible. soo terrible i am tempted to get a hold of one to see if they are really that bad. (Keep in mind i am the body melt fan so its kinda like the RUN DMC "not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good" for me... kinda ;) )

HungryJoe 12-13-2006 02:07 PM

I bought "Zombie Chronicles" a long time ago, I knew what to expect from the movie when I bought it. Remember bad movies help us appreciate other movies.

New Barbarian, let's get the story staright. Brain Damage Films only handled the distribution for the film Zombie Chronicles, we did not produce it, nor did we produce or handle distribition on a sequel to the true, true classic "I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE".
Thank you, for what I will take as a compliment, on the TRACES OF DEATH series, they are the first true Shockumentary, meant to be the most vile films ever. If you don't like them, then don't f**cking watch them!
Now as for your review on Zombie Chronicles; I have a stack of emails from people who did not like the movie, but I also have a stack of emails from people who like the movie. I am sure you've gone to the theater and seen a film that sucked and that didn't stop you from watch other films by that same company. I like many of Lionsgate's films but not all of them, doesn't stop me from watching more Lionsgate movies. Zombie Chronicles was also released 4 years ago, go to our website at braindamagefilm.com to see our new releases, the production level alone has got much better over the years.
Thanx for everyones support of indie HORROR. Ultra-GORE FOREVER!

paws the great 12-28-2006 07:08 PM

I would buy more Brain Damage dvd's,but all the new ones are full frame.

I hate full screen.

braindamagefilms 01-14-2007 03:41 AM

Paws the great,

You're quite the PR man, aren't you;)

All silliness aside, I haven't seen any of your films other than Traces of Death (to my knowledge) Any info on where a bloke like myself could get a copy of your films? The majority I've read about sound hilariously bad, and I love that. I'm assuming that most of them generally don't make the Blockbuster circuit, so where can we get a hold of your product for a decent price?

braindamagefilms 01-14-2007 06:16 PM

Other tahn Traces Of Death series

1. I know you didn't make the crap you sell you just distribute it.
2. I only saw your crappy films by accident.
3. I know major companies distribute some crappy films but they usually do a better job (unlike you).
4. Why can't you distribute better films!?

1. Good you understand we just distribute.
2. I thought you only saw 1 of our films.
3. Explain how they do a better job... Of distribution or is a crappy film just a crappy film.
4. If don't like our films, then YOU make a better one and I'll distribute it. Keep me posted on your progress.

I'm not old enough to make and distribute a real film but I will when I'm old enough.

Terror Toons is one of my personal favorite also! It has been voted on some internet sites as one of the best films to take hallucigenic drugs while watching.

Are you talking about Beverly Lynn (the hero) or Lizzy Borden (chick in bathtub)? They are both HOT to me!

Personally I think they could definitely put out some better films but some of the ones I've seen were surprisingly amusing and/or original.

Death Factory Bloodletting is one of their new titles that looks pretty good. I really liked the original Death Factory.

Most of them are schlock, though. But at least someone is supporting the indie horror filmmakers. How can they ever get better if their work isn't released and critiqued?

Isn't that the point? They haven't tried to be anything else IMO.

Brain Damage movies are organic, unpretentious and terrible. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the processed crap you see. The typical modern horror film is as natural as cheese in a can and as human as Paris Hilton's lawyer's coke dealer but these are just some assholes in the woods with a camera they got at Best Buy on an installment plan. They're real. They're real bad, but they're also real.

Brain damage films in general

First of all i'd like to thank all the hardworking folk at braindamage hq. You guys are awesome. I found your company quite late on about 2009 i think. Needless to say being a joe castro fan i stumbled across terror toons after buying nutbag another great film. Anyway i headed to your website and saw that you'd distributed tons of quality material for gorehounds like myself. I bought the traces of death boxset and owning faces 1 to 4 traces was by far the best it didnt bother me i ate through it but my friend threw up at the lion bit. Just to let you know keep it up i'll be buying more in future. Plus who was the man who did the traces intro in 3 he was cool and so was the music. You guys are the best :)
