Buying DVD's

I found the cheapest way to get DVD's. I just got 15 DVD's for 2.95 each. Here is what you do. Go on Ebay and search for the DVD that you want. Than on the left it says Search Optios. Under Items within put 10 miles within your zip code. That way you can just pick the DVD up from the house and dont have to worry about shipping cause that is what kills it. Ill find DVD's for 2-3 bucks but than there is 5 shipping. So I search 10 miles within my zip and ask the guy if I can go to his house and get it and saves me $5 shipping. So Im just hunting down Buy It Now's for under $4 and I wont ever have to pay over $5 again. Or just click DVD's and Movies, than DVD's, than Horror and than sort by 10 miles of your zip code. Than click Buy It Now and it will list every Horror DVD that is being sold 10 miles from you.

this isn't exactly a brain wave idea.

a lo of people dont let you pick up - some for privacy reasons - others because fleecing you on the shipping is the majority of their business income.

And where exactly can you do that?

The Flayed One 11-25-2006 01:20 PM

Actually, I usually just hit Buy 2, Get 2 free sales for used movies or order from DDDvd. So I really never pay for shipping.

The big lot I just bought was from a guy I knew in town, so he just brought them over to me. Usually though, if you buy big enough numbers the shipping is free anyway.

At rental stores. At the Movie Gallery in my town, their previously viewed are always Buy 2, Get 2 free. The only thing is, you want to make sure you buy 4 that are the same price or they'll try to screw ya. I think Blockbuster has a similar deal.
