How Many Friday the 13th Movies...

...does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Most creative answer in the next 24 hours wins a prize!:D

Don't post an answer in this thread unless you want me to mail you a prize.

The Mothman 10-23-2006 11:47 AM

how ever many friday the 13th dvds vorhees can shove up his own ass with his machete. ouch.

ya that was pretty bad.

crabapple 10-23-2006 02:06 PM

Well, it's the only answer so far!

alkytrio666 10-23-2006 02:22 PM

2: You put a DVD in each hand. Gently and carefully squeeze them around the bulb and lift it into the air. Then you use them to spin the bulb in a clockwise motion until the bulb is tightly in place.

And let there be light!

ferretchucker 10-23-2006 02:31 PM

1

and 9 annoying sequels to try and do it as well as the first, but end up dropping it. The lights get looser and the story filament gets weaker for each one...

The Mothman 10-23-2006 02:34 PM

im gonna win:)

ferretchucker 10-23-2006 02:39 PM

you poorimbosilic ignoramus.

crabapple 10-23-2006 02:42 PM

Some pretty funny answers! Excellent. This prize I am giving away is a small prize, by the way, it's not some big expensive thing. I don't even know what the prize is exactly, but it'll fit into a little envelope. And it'll be horror related.

(It'll probably be a copy of one of the rubber ears from the Carlos scene in "Freddy's Dead," for which I supervised the appliance effects.)

So don't compete for the prize. Do it for, you know, for the sake of it.

ferretchucker 10-23-2006 02:50 PM

sure...we wont compete.

Come on men, load yourguns. Mothan is right by that tree!

crabapple 10-23-2006 03:01 PM

No no, what I meant was, compete--but compete for the sake of competing, because the prize is just a little thing really. A rubber ear that fits in a padded envelope--hey wow!

urgeok 10-23-2006 05:37 PM

None ..

movies cant screw in lightbulbs.

what did i win ?

crabapple 10-23-2006 05:57 PM

I just realized...

Nothing anyone has posted yet is the least bit clever!

Well, some of them are. Okay, a lot of them are.

Maybe I should...start a thread about it.

alkytrio666 10-23-2006 06:09 PM

Yo, crabs. Suck on deez nuts: http://horror.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25512&page=6

_____V_____ 10-23-2006 07:33 PM

1 to give it the "motherly" touch,
2 to get "awakened",
3 to check its " 3 dimensional filament",
4 to "finalize its screw-in",
5 to "try a dummy first",
6 to "see if it lives again",
7 to determine if "its of the new series",
8 if the bulb is "Made in Manhattan",
9 if it wont work and "you swear it to Hell"
and
10 when you throw it into "deep space" in disgust.

If all else doesnt work, screw it good and proper with a "gloved 'un." That oughta screw it tight. :D

crabapple 10-23-2006 08:14 PM

ferretchucker 10-24-2006 03:33 AM

Who's winning so far? I need to know soon because I'm going to my nans house for the next couple of days.

scaryminda15 10-24-2006 06:36 AM

lol

none because Vorhees will kill you or break the light bulb no point if u ask me.

what do you think of that?

ferretchucker 10-24-2006 06:40 AM

i think you already have a rubber ear and so sren't gonna bother trying for a new one.

Personally i think putting jason in ruined it.

It would have been better as a one off with his mum.

crabapple 10-24-2006 07:26 AM

These are definitely some funny responses! Still just a short while left to go.

Runner-ups get a digital image file of one of the puppets I made for Bride of Reanimator. It'll get posted here when the contest wraps up. See?

ferretchucker 10-24-2006 07:30 AM

well im going to my nans at 6:00pm so can we be quick!

crabapple 10-24-2006 07:45 AM

Well, according to the contest, it's the most creative response in 1 day...another 4 hours, just about!

I will post the runner-up prize right now for all you anxious folk! http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...idephotoSM.jpg

ferretchucker 10-24-2006 07:48 AM

ooooh, it turns me on

crabapple 10-24-2006 07:52 AM

Oh yes...in case I didn't mention it before, this is a HALLOWEEN WEEK contest, and is sort of a digital version of Halloween festivities. Like a sort of party.

SKOOFx 10-24-2006 07:56 AM

None.

Jason wasn't bright to being with.
