Interview with the Vampire or Devil's Backbone?

Im going to watch one of these tonight...which should it be?

I'll watch whichever is suggested first.

The_Return 09-16-2006 05:30 PM

Anyone?

depends on what you're in the mood for

if you want creepy, atmospheric ghosts - Devil's Backbone (easily the better of the two films)

but if you're in the mood to just turn off the brain and enjoy the ride go for Interview with the Vamp.

can't really go wrong:) have fun watching!

Well considering you mentioned Devil's Backbone first, thats what I'll go for. Thanks, will post my thoughts on it in Last Seen Movie.

Blind bought both of 'em, and had heard really good things about each of them. Couldnt decide, so I figured I'd post.

Anyway, Devil's Backbone was awesome, I really liked it....probably going to watch Interview tonight.

I though 'Interview' was alright. Some good scenes, some bad scenes...

A decent flick, at least.

Verve 09-18-2006 02:36 PM

Both of those movies are pretty overrated... But i would have to say that Devil's Backbone is a bit better.

It's because they cut out all the manlove scenes. Tom Cruise = Rock Hudson :p

Overly sexual Brad Pitt scenes are overrated.:D

@Return
But, to add my two cents:
Devil's Backbone is worth owning. Most definitely:)

I have seen almost every horror movie in existence. for serious. i used to be a real hardcore industrial goth kid and i was addicted.
but i grew up.
and as a mature adult the one thing i have come to find is....

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I WATCH INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMP...i cry when claudia and Louis develop that little bit of distance, afterwards Claudia and Madeline get killed...
i cry like a little girl every time. breaks my heart.

though i do get a raging hard-on for the revenge scene when Santiago gets cut in half with a sickle.

das vidanya!
