....All of the forums a bit on the dead side lately?

That's the reason why I came back. I like it this way.

It seems lately there is a lot less drama.

The only bad thing is that when no one is posting, there is nothing to talk about. I have been viewing other forums and websites trying to find something to do.

I wouldn't say that - there are at least two religion discussions going, a thread for hot and fat women, pictures of the moderators and of course Stream of Cuntiousness to keep you occupied in this forum alone.

Plus, TJ will be along with another game very soon.

I have stopped posting in all my forums as well .. 'shrug'

School just started back up so there are a lot less people online during the day & they have less free time in the evenings due to homework & other school related things (friends, sports, homework,etc...)

i know it has been kinda lame lately someone should do something fun we should maybe do a meet up at the movie theater and see a scary movie and talk about it later sound good?

Dude, I was there for that screening and you never showed up! I don't even know how I got there since I'm in California. I blinked and there I was.

I ran out for a while after the whole thing between Hezbollah and Isreal started, because I became deeply disturbed, and went through a very personal time, which I won't go into. I chated with members of the forum off the forum. I may not have come back had Rayne not sent me that link to the chili thing.

Now, however, I'm glad I did. I didn't realize how much I really enjoy you all. I was really happy to see Vodstock had returned. Speaking of which... Vod, PM coming your way!!!

I just noticed the past two days that there are usually only one or two people on, and no one really posts. It goes hours with no one saying anything.

Really slow.

Well, hon, some of us can't hang around the comp all day. I'm getting ready to start my day, and other people have their day. At certain points, I'll peep in for a few, but for the most part, I'm busy during the day.

It really only livens up at night and on the weekends.

I mean I don't expect everyone to be on 24/7, I'm just saying I've noticed a large slow down lately. Before Monday there were people on all the time, not the same people all day, but it kept the forums going. Now I sign on and it's like it is at 2 in the morning. lol

By the way, has anyone else noticed that from 1-2 am, there are people on, from 2-3, no one signs on, and at 3-4, it's really lively?

Theres a lot of love stuff going on in my life at the moment..
as much as its a good thing...its also a miserable time too cos we are oceans apart right now..at least untill feb 07

I have a new kitten I found and she's a pain in the ass. She won't keep off my computer desk,and it takes me five times as long to post. She'll even dive bomb me from the book shelf. I think she was a flying Wallenda in a past life. Her tail was broken in three places when I found her, and I constantly have to keep her from chewing on the popsicle sticks I have taped to it. She's a great kitty though. I named her Haggis.

The guests aren't even as numerous as before.

Yes.

Go to the forum stats, and when you enter you'll see a "guest" viewing who is online. When you take it off and enter, it doesn't show up.

Also, when you see a guest quoting a post, and go to that thread when it says they are viewing it, it's a normal member that posted.

And how could they send and read private messages? :D

or maybe thats just a bot :eek:

I seriously doubt it, and I just edited my post.

a guest who clicks on a button to pm a member appears in the stats as "sending a private message"

@Vamp- What about when it's says 10 members online but you only see a couple names? It's gotta be invisible members.
