Think about this for a second...What if there were 4 threads about 'Hot Guys' with nothing but page after page of pictures of half naked guys in them?.....That would be kinda stupid, wouldn't it?

Yeah...But...the problem is...2 of them are "tournaments" merging them would completely screw them up...Removing them would really be the only option, but that would kinda suck, too as there's nothing really wrong with them EXCEPT for the fact that there are two of them...The other 2 could be merged, but that would still leave 3 threads altogether

I think merging them all together, so that no one can cry about their threads being 'removed', is a fair compromise

That way we don't have 4 of the same threads, and those who need it can still have their eye candy...

This a fucking horror forum for god's sakes, and when it comes down to it, I'm with Rayne, in lieu of horror, I'd rather talk about toilet paper than look at ass, any ass. Here and there...whatever, constantly, no.

On forums where there is 50:50 male to female ratio, or more females than guys, there ARE threads where girls post pics of hot guys...and usually they make a thread per man they have a schoolgirl crush on. At least the guys keep a thread (or 4 in this case) where everyone posts multiple girls into...

Keep it to one thread though, we done need multiple threads for it.

At first I wondered you were talking about someone beginning a thread with the subject of wondering where had DantesInferno wandered, and I realized that was the actual name of a member. Then I wondered whether DantesInferno created another username "Where Is DantesInferno," and then someone might start a post wondering where he had wandered, but with you it's hard to tell.

Wow combining them was brilliant. The thread is a total mess now. If there are too many threads on one subject, then they should weed themselves out. If people don't have any interest in a thread then the thread will die. I'm not sure a moderators job is too decide which threads belong and which don't. If they don't offend or harm anyone. If you have no interest in the thread, then don't go into it. Well, I did enjoy this forum and they're a lot of nice people, but I don't like any kind of censorship, and that's what this is. See ya.

Get a dictionary....Nothing was removed or covered up...Therefore, there was NO censorship...All of the pictures are still there...

Actually...The subject matter wasn't the issue, as previously stated there's TONS of senseless crap here...The problem was that the SAME subject (no matter WHAT the subject is), was in 4 different threads, all in the same place...


For example: We wouldn't put 4 'Hostel' threads, or 4 'Member's Pictures' threads all on the first General Forum page, and if someone DID, I would merge THOSE together, too...AND...No one would bitch about THAT...

Kinda odd, huh?


And...If the problem is that the 'tournaments' were screwed up...There were 2 tournaments on the exact same subject, at the same time...It would be impossible (and stupid) to merge two tournaments together...Just as it was stupid for whoever created the SECOND tournament on the same subject, to do that.

Agreed it is not censorship, and the manipulation of several threads rather banally talking about the same thing is fair enough.

However let's look at these threads for what they are - simple appreciation of 'products', i.e. famous hot women. Tournaments between them, even.

Opinion on and tournaments between things we would like is hardly new or offensive... or perhaps the ladies of HDC are feeling a tad threatened by all this?

There have only been a few times when I've thought that the moderating process had gone too far (and I'm not talking about kpro's banning spree), but I thought before I spoke. When I rationalized the situation, it made sense to me.

Apparently, this Persuasion fellow doesn't know the actually meaning of "censorship." Condenscing thread types and forbidding types of threads are entirely seperate things. LOL...Honestly...I didn't find them the LEAST bit offensive...And even if I DID, that would not be a reason to merge them, because they will still be there to cause offense, right?...

So, If I WAS 'offended' (which I swear is IMPOSSIBLE for me), the proper thing to do would be to remove them, right?...WRONG...If a moderator is PERSONALLY offended by something, that is no reason to remove it...It's simply an opinion...And moderating should NEVER be based on 'personal opinion'....

The feelings and opinions of the ENTIRE forum are what have to be taken into consideration...And I do not believe that everyone here was 'offended' by 4 banal threads....But, I DO believe that everyone would agree that it was redundant...That was why they were merged...


On a side note...I do know of a few instances where things were deleted SOLELY on the basis that they personally offended ONE moderator...And I discussed it with that moderator, and cautioned that person against it...

That was bullshit...I do not agree with it...And I do not do it...
