Best looking movie werewolf
in my opinion i always liked the werewolf from Silver Bullet, how about you?
|
Hmmm....I think I have several favorites. The ww's from An american werewolf in london, the Howling and The Monster Squad were all great.
The worst werewolf I've ever seen was in The Company of Wolves. I liked the movie a lot, it was very surreal, but the special effects in the werewolf department sucked big time. |

As for the best, I really liked the ones in Dog Soldiers. Very different. Of course, mad props (did I really just say that?) to Lon Cheney Jr's Larry Talbot. |
Granted, Van Helsing was pretty lame. But when Stephen Rea turns into the wolf in TCOW, I laughed my ass off. It was like some high school goth kid's art project. But I agree that the VH werewolves were completely stupid.

Agreed.
Interesting movie though. |
cgi humanoid movie monsters are hit and miss, american werewolf in paris was terrible, but some films have pulled it off well though. dog soldiers ww's were unique.
i also thought the ginger snaps movies had good looking ww's |
You're right. The Ginger Snaps werewolves were pretty good too.

I Agree With the Guy Who Said Dog Soldiers. Ones In Ginger Snaps 3 & The Non Cgi Ones In Underworld Were Alrite Too.
|
Dog Soldiers for me. Leave CGI away from creatures that can be done just fine with practical effects. Including Aliens and Frankenstein's Monster.
|
I'm torn between Dog Soldiers and The Howling.

I think Dog Soldiers has had the best werewolves. They had a great look and feel to them. The ones in the Underworld movies weren't bad either.
|
Dog Soldiers. no competition here.
|
I kind of like the Underworld Evolution werewolfs for some reason

Good thing they have no genitals. At least they can't breed.

The one in the picture above doesn't appear to, assuming it is a male. In all other respects, it seems to have a male body shape. But no visible tackle.
|
Teen Wolf
|
The ww in Silver Bullet was good. I also liked the ww's in the old Fox network series "werewolf". BTW the return, nice Monster Squad reference.
|
The one from An American Werewolf in London. Duh.
Lon Chany Jr. 's Wolfman was good, too. And the ones from Dog Soldiers. |
i like lon chaney's wolf man, the howling werewolves were great, as well as an american werewolf in london, bad moon, and dog soldiers. i thought the werewolf from silver bullet looked too much like a bear, the werewolves from ginger snaps were ok, but looked a little like rats. the 1st underworld werewolves were decent, but in the sequel they looked more like lions. i think the perfect movie werewolf would have the a "dog soldiers" body, "an american werewolf in london" face, eyes, snout, teeth, and "the howling" ears and fur.

absolute worst looking movie werewolf - hands down :
Michael J. Fox's dad in Teenwolf. |

Well THANKS.
Godamn it, now i have to start over. |
First Ginger Snaps.
As opposed to being terrifying they (well, if you can say that...) were really quite wierd, gross in a odd sort of way. |
i like that bunny werewolf that dee wallace turns into at the end of the howling, the one with the sniffy nose going sniffy sniff sniff, thats a cute litta werewolf yo

worst looking movie werewolf i'd say from my mom's a werewolf, or howling the freaks, looks like an ape with dog legs.
|
Henry Hull in Werewolf of London. Looks like a combination of a rabid dog and a man regressing to a neanderthal state. Since werewolves are displays of the primitive bestial part of the person afflicted, I think Werewolf of London shows that best. The Dog Soldiers wolves also look a bit too lean, more like coyotes than wolves.
