It's rumored and announced, but nothing's confirmed. But i'm sure we all saw this was coming...

...he he this must be one of the fastest Franchise's in cinema history....havnt had the time to watch number 4....ehhh soon released on dvd...rip

-First one was good.
-The second was ok.
-Third was kinda funny and watchable.
-Fourth was an utter piece of shit.

I love all of the SCARY MOVIES so I'll definately be seeing the 5th. I just hope Anna Faris and Regina Hall come back. If they do, I'm all good. My favorites in order is the 4th, 1st, 3rd, and then 2nd.

I think the Scary Movie series is funny but four was a bit rubbish..

This is becoming like the Freddie series. I stopped watching the Scary movie series afte i read that the Wayans brothers weren't involved with making the movies. That's Dreary wood for u.:cool:

this movie should be funny but how can they even think of sc 5 when most people havent even seen 4

i liked all but 4..... IMO the franchise when downhill when the Wayans brothers left

-Scary Movie 2 was just as good as the original IMO
-Scary Movie 3 Wasn't bad
-Scary Movie 4 was just plain bad
-Scary Movie 5 will, if things keep going the way they do, will suck

why do they torture us with this mindless movies. I havent seen any past 2 and will not waiste my time

Honestly, that's a pretty good idea.

i downloaded the DVD..Screener of SM4 last month, it wasn't even funny, it was so back, i stopped watching when they were preparing to leave town.

I was just suprised why the woman who died came back from SM3 to SM4 (the woman who had a fight with Ring)

I haven't yet seen 4 so if there is an explaination, I'm yet to hear it.

I loved the 1st and 2nd, but found that the storyline in 3 lacked. It seemed to be a whole lot of movies conbined in someway - however small - to creat 3. It was funny, but I would have preferred a better storyline like 1 and 2.

I probably will watch 4 and 5 but I'm not in any rush.

Thanks, it's funny my dad always says "Don't buy it on DVD, it'll be on the TV soon." and sure enough they are eventually, about 3years after they cam out on DVD.

So from the advice, i'll wait for it to be on TV :)

Yes, but whereas 1 and 2 were alot more connected, giving a much better storyline.
What I'm trying to say is that the storyline wasn't connected that well.

Take the ring combined with 8 mile!!!

The guy was "being" eminem, and the only way they were connected was through the guy falling in love with the newsreporter girl who had a kid that drew stuff like the ring did.

Also signs wasn't connected well either.

4 was pretty fucking awful, but the oprah scene had me in tears.

i think scary movie films are shit, there not even funny.
i totally gave up on then after watchin the third one.
any1 seen 'date movie'? its worse!!

Didn't they already release #5 under the title "White Chicks." Come on, that was pretty scary.

i love white chicks.....not sure bout there other films tho.....(not that the bros had anything to do with scary movie 4 and 5.....see there is a reason 4 was pants)

i think they're film versions of french and saunders christmas specials.....they do the exact same thing.....simply parody the films of the previous year....funny bits yeah but dont offer anything new

Funny bits are all I need. I wish they could be funnier. I wish someone at Miramax would realize that fart noises and loud pooping noises stopped being funny in 1992. But I can ignore the dumb bits so long as there's still a shred of entertainment and humor within the franchise. And as far as I'm concerned, the SM's get funnier with every sequel. I hope they continue this trend with 5 and permanently lock the Wayans' from getting into the studio.

i love their films well there kinda okay white chicks is funny tho.......ill probs not go see any more but will see them in other more free ways....they are always worth a look even if it is only regina that makes me laugh
