Does anyone listen to the Misfits? If you like horror movies, and havent heard them, then you should. Their songs are either made about a movie, or are a horror movie type theme. Awesome music

speaking of "pumpkin head" I got a great story to tell. a few years back I saw them in atlanta GA , and for some reason Jerry Only noticed my pumkin head t-shirt I was wearing and had asked to get me and my friends to come back stage..when we went back stage he said hey let me see your shirt.. and he asked me if i wanted him to sign it.. WELL SHIT YEAHHH!!! lol that was cool though. :D

I love The Misfits, their music is top quality and the themes are unbeatable.
I think my favourite songs by them are:

Day of The Dead
Pumpkinhead
Resurrection

Every horror fan should of heard atleast a few songs by The Misfits, otherwise...well its just a shame.

no avenger that would be awesome though ive always wanted to be in a band. i just really love there music and like spreading the word . did you like it . in my opinion these are two of the best horror bands out there hands down.

Yeah I have heard some of Blitz Kids before Gothan Road is Michael Graves new band ..Have you heard Graves gis other band aftre he left the Misfits.?If you haven't and you like the more punk style you will like Graves better than Gotham road you can hear the diffrence he re-recorded about 4 or 5 tracks from his graves "Web of Dahrma" CD and put them on his gotham road CD so check it out..

and for the record Jerry Only is one of the nicest rockstars I have ever met...!

yep i got that graves cd it is great. i do really like gotham road though too ............ it is alot heavier then graves. michale is awesome. and yes jerry is a realy cool guy alot of people dont like what hes doing right now with the current lineup. i really dont care for it either but you got to give him credit for forming the band once again altho i dont think he shod have called it the misfits. famous monster and american psycho were great.

I will have to definately agree with you on this.. He signed my shirt, well it was hard to do so cause it was black.. But we found a grey paint pen or something like that.. and I got one of their wrist bands as well.. he is very cool , got pics and we talked about horror and stuff... Will Rahmer who is in the band Mortician is like this as well.. He will definately go out of his way to please a fan, he is very fan oriented... i got all types of signed stuff from him and Roger... I have spoke to him on the phone many times, and I am in the NYDM coalition as well.... something everyone needs to check out... www.nydm.com

The Misfits are my favorite band. I even have the Crimson Ghost tattooed inside black flame on my left forearm.

Suprised they didn't mention them in the music for Halloween section.

IMO this is true to an extent.. to me there is just a different atmosphere with danzig compared with the misfits... the misfits is more horror and to me danzig is somewhat more ritual

Classic Misfits all the way! On Nov. 1 my friend's Misfits cover band played. They do it once year every Halloween weekend. Yes, it was awesome! He also has this great horror-punk band called The Psychos. All their songs are about killing people and the lyrics are hilarious! Their stage names are Johnny Murder and Harry Dagger. If you're in the NYC area you gotta check them out!

I love the Misfits. I also have a Misfits tattoo of the Crimson Ghost on my left shoulder. I am more fond of there older stuff with Glenn. I had seen them in concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Back when they regouped and Michael Graves was still in. I am a very big fan of Glenn's work. I also have met Jerry and he is a very very nice guy and will do alot for the fans. The new stuff is good but to me its not really the Misfits without Glenn. Michael Graves is good vocally but I think that he trys to be to much like Glenn in the early Misfits days. Even now he still wears the skeleton clothes like Glenn used to wear. Overall I would say that they are pretty damn good and suprised with how good they sound. Since Glenn wrote all the songs and music. I had orginally thought they would not be that good without Glenn.

ok i just heard "die die my darling" the other day and was like holy fuck, this shit fucking rules. Does anyone have any Misfits records to recommend. Seems like theyre had so many lineup changes that (from what ive heard) the sound changes alot. Any recommendations?

Hey...good to see lots of 'fits fans!! Anyways...i saw a shirt online, but cannot find it again..i forget what exactly was on the front, but on the back, it said "no back design". I thought it was brilliant!! Its a Misfits shirt...was just wondering if anyone knows where i can find it..??

there hasnt been much line changes...that i know of, it was Danzig, Only, Doyle, and Chud...the singer changed to Graves...who is a GREAT singer...but Danzig had a certain something with his singing (he sang Die die) Anyways....for the old stuff, my favorite is still the Collection I
Its yellow, with the black skull on it..for the new stuff, id have to go with Famous Monsters...or Project 1950 is sweet...but its not really Misfits songs

this is kinda fucked up...but actually my cousin is jerry only(The bassist)....he's my moms cousin so ya...c actually used to hang out wit him, danzig nd doyle....nd yaa...they kick ass! lol...i'm actually goin 2 a thing called Hellfest in Jersey...its a 3 day long show wit i think 150 bands all togethr nd the misfits r gonna b headlining the first day...so yaa.that kicks ass. egh w/e i'll jus end it here

u kuld try 2 get ahold of the the old misfits catalog...i got 1 from 99' nd i wuld send it 2 ya...but i got the whole bands signatures on it(graves, doyle, chud, nd jerry) so its kinda lyke...ya get me?...but u kuld try contacting these e-mails in the catalog....

really? i didn't know that....i find that kinda f***ed up though...bc jerry nd doyle r brothers nd after that whole shit about fighting 4 the misfits name....i just wuldnt think doyle wuld actually go on with em...but i dunno, jerry said that everything aright with them now so...i guess?
