whatever happened to the full moon videos? do they still make them? they were always cheesy but i kind of liked them

As far as I know they still make them. Sci-fi ran a crapload of their newer ones last year on a show that Bill Shatner hosted. Most of them sucked.

I wish I had the SCI-FI channel then I too could have watched:(

yes most of the ones they showed on sci fi did suck . but yes i did enjoy some of the full moon releases also. the ones i enjoyed the most . can't remeber the name of the movies but there was a vampire called radu? i think

That would be the Subspecies series.

Did you guys ever see Vampire Journals? It was a spin-off of the Subspecies series and it sucked hard. It did have Radu in it though if I remember correctly.

the Puppet Master series were the best movies full moon had:) They also put out the dead hate the living which I have yet to see. For all you wondering Full Moon still puts out movies, they own shadow ent. and tempe so any movies by them are in reality released by Full Moon:)

I had noticed the Band family name on those Shadow films. I didn't want to jump to conclusions though. But now that I know, those Shadow movies kinda suck. Like Darkwalker and Bleed and Jigsaw.

Wasn't Trancers done by Full Moon? I love all of them! Subspecies one and two were the best! Dollman! Demonic Toys! and least I forget....Dollman vs. The Demonic Toys! piss poor acting, and yes, very cheezy, but Jeez how I love 'em!!:D

Yes, they do Trancers. Gotta love Tim Thomerson, he's in just about every movie you just named.

Yep! Just love him, he's also in that movie cherry 2000 wasn't that the name? And he's in the Flash movie, he was Barry's Brother. The Trancer movies, especially the first three, are some of my favorites. Mostly because of Thomerson!

Ah, you're a woman after my own heart. I love Cherry 2000 and Thomerson is a great actor.

I also really liked Cherry 2000 (I read that in a poll of videostores it was somehow the least rented ever T_T)and Dollman was a cool laugh:D

Hopefully that's b/c it comes on tv so much. Haha.

Anyone remember these guys? They did a lot of cheesy horror movies, and are mainly noted for their Subspecies series. Apparently the only place to find there videos anymore is online. I can't find them in video stores anywhere.

I would say they were known for the Puppet Master movies more than anything. Alot of the stuff they made was less than stellar, but a few gems were allowed to slip by.

I bought all of them until "Killjoy"...I cannot even BEGIN to describe at what depth that "movie:rolleyes: " sucked...

Doesn't anyone remember Demonic Toys and Dollman? They weren't so bad...

By the way, there are a hell of a lot more of them than the Puppetmasters and Subspecies...damn I loved Radu...

Netherworld, Necronomicon, Castle Freak, Prison of the Dead, The Dead Hate the Living...I'd list them all if I were at home looking at them...I'll bet you guys are all glad that I'm NOT home!...LOL:D

I think their only good films were the original Puppet Master, Trancers, and Subspecies, Castle Freak, The Dead Hate the Living....that's all I can remember liking enough to buy.

By the way, which Necronomicon are you talking about?

Good question...You know, Avenger, I only make those annoying little mistakes to get you to respond...See how well it works?...LOL...Anyway, we don't ALL have little "horror movie microchips" implanted in our brains to call up any information at will...Just playing again...:D

I like Castle Freak, Shrieker, and the Subspecies series a lot.

I bought Castle Freak on DVD online and got this other free Full Moon film on it..."Deathbed", which is basically soft porn. "Hey, that bed is possessed by evil demonic spirits, so let's have sex on it."

Sure, why not?...Sounds like fun to me!...LOL:D

Hmmm...Now, that I think about it...I wonder how many guys could actually use that and make it work...hahaha...:)

To bad they are never doing Puppert master vs demonic toys. I have been waiting forever for that movie and they just fuck it.:mad:

BTW, I bought an out of print copy of The Pit and the Pendulum for3 bucks at Suncoast. I'm hoping it's one of Full Moon's better titles. Then again, it's Stuart Gordon...

Oh yeah Fullmoon sure did put out some memorable movies... I do believe I pretty much own every damn one made too.. except for the vampire journals... my favs are: Puppetmaster series, subspecies, and the dead hate the living...

Aren't you even a little concerned about the possible quality of their "new" projects, given the success of their most recent debacles?...I'm not quite certain that Full Moon will ever be what it was...They need to go back about 10 years, try to do it like they used to...when they did it right...I, personally, don't think I trust them anymore...KILLJOY??????!!!!!!!

Didn't say anything about the quality of their flicks Bloodrayne. I'm just amazed that they finally fixed their webpage. I'm equally amazed at this Dr. Moreau flick. The trailer looked awful, but it looks like they might be bringing the gore back to their flicks.

BTW, I feel you on their current state of films. I wish they would save some money and do one flick RIGHT. And not two shitty flicks.

man oh man I hate to say it BUTTTT I would LOVE to see a new puppet master and not one with old footage hashed into it. I want old school demonic people slaying puppets. and not some crappy blood dolls either...
