1. His movies aren't The Matrix and those shots are way overused nowadays that they're getting boring and stale.

2. We don't want to watch a damn video game! I didn't pay to watch a movie and end up watching video game clips! They should not be in a movie!

Uwe Boll making a movie is like me baking a cake.

It just turns out looking like shit.

Uwe Boll is a worthless piece of shit! I say this having never met the man and basing this statement solely on his uncanny ability to fuck up any movie he comes in contact with and the fact that he still gets work.

I've concluded the man has "friends in high places" and spends a vast majority of his week on his knees.

and his name is stupid. I dunno how he wants it pronounced, but I have and will always pronounce it "oowee"

I will always pronounce it "Ewww" like I say after his movies.

I used to pronounce it "You Bawl" because that's what'd I'd do after his movies.

in light of what i have seen .. this guy is about the most deserving person for this shit ever - hands down.

I make a lot of allowances in the genre but this asshole is inexcusable. His inability to see or care how bad his films are really does sicken me.

I'd feel the same way about M. Night S. if he hadnt directed 2 excellent movies before he went to hell.

I'd feel the same way about Corman but he's about 50/50

i think the 'you should fucking know better' weighs in heavy for me when it comes to Ewe Boil .. its not like he didnt have a budget, and so far he's batting 500 re. shitty films.

Yeh he's deserving of all the shit he gets I was just getting at that EVERYONE knows this already and there's more interesting things that could be discussed in magazines ect. My big gripe is I'm sick of hearing the same old shit in just about everything I pick up these days is Uwe Boll is the shittest George Romero is the greatest blah, blah.......

the thing about paying to see a movie in the theatre .. you lose money and time (if it's a shitty movie) .. it pisses me off ..

if i went to a restaurant and they served me something as rotten as house of the dead, i'd demand my money back ...

Kapow! There are lots of bad directors out there but none that are as detrimental to the genre I love.

At least Roland Emmerich is a more better German than Uwe and at least he doesn't do his movies for taxes.

Dude, House of the Dead rawked! I loved the scene when they are killing the bad eviol zombies and that violent rap music is playing. ;)

acording to your post its our fault as the horror/ video game community that his movies suck, and thet he gets work.

Hmmm... I didn't really intend to imply this, although it may have seemed that way. As for why his movies suck, I'd say that's his fault, and no one else's. So why does he continue to get work? This I'm not so sure about. His films are (more or less) universally panned, and routinely perform very poorly at the box office. Anyone care to venture any theories as to why he's still working?

the guy makes shitty movies ..but if no one saw them or rented them he'd stop in a hurry.

i was just being a smart ass, i dont like his movie( but i own a few) or him, but i get his and everyone elses point, he thinks hes staying true to the games( he basicly is but hes doing it the bad way), and we thing he's a eurotard who cant produce, write, or direct.

i dont think he should be banned from cenima, just vg titles and be required to take a 4 year film school corse.

im also tired of hereing about this shit on every game movie( even if its not of a real game).
