About Jesus

Hello!

I am a Chronic Masturbater sent with the word of Satan!

I know you all love Jesus, but he is truly the work of sheer stupidity! I wouldn't even call him a prophet, but more of a"token undergrad hippie from the yester years ". He presents explicit and graphic displays of crappy magic and the early works david blaine(water into wine..HA!).

Please! Think about it! Maybe reverting to something a little more intelligent, such as Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Pt4! and other quality Troma Movies.

If you're interested in the boycotting of these horrible, farm animal fucking hick shit cults, please e-mail me for information!

Thanks, and please help me to spread the good word of the great Loyd Kaufman!

Re: About Jesus

No jesus bashing

I love and hate Lloyd Kaufman for the same reason.

bloodrayne 01-06-2006 11:14 AM

To tell the truth...I have absolutely NOTHING against Jesus, or another person's right to believe in and worship whoever or whatever they want to...

What burns MY ass, is when people try to tell ME what I should believe in, and who and what I should worship

I can't say that ALL Christians are like that (Hammerfan, for example, is an awesome person and I love her to death)...But, it is a FACT that of all religions, Christians are the worst for trying to force their beliefs and opinions on others....And MOST of the Christians that I have encountered are the biggest hypocrites in all of existance....

Far too many contradictions...

Were you aware that the word 'Christian' means 'Christ like'?.....Their bible says that Christ judges a person by what is in his heart, and NOT by his outward appearance...So, why are the Christians the first ones to judge a person based on how they look or what they wear?...That type of superficiality (well, ANY type really) just pisses me off...

And...

Why do they depict Jesus as a white guy with long light brown hair?...According to the Bible, he was born in Bethlehem...That's Jerusalem guys, the middle east...Jesus would HAVE to look like an Arab.....Dark skin, curly black hair, etcetera...

Believe me there are TONS of contradictions, it would take me a WEEK to point them all out...Anyway, my point is...It is offensive to force your beliefs on spmeone else, I don't do it to people, and I would appreciate the same courtesy that I afford everyone else, to be given to me in return...I don't think that's too much to ask...

And by the way...You guys know a LOT about me...I've known many of you for years...And yet NONE of you are familiar with my religious beliefs....If someone asked, I would tell them, but I do NOT try to convert people or preach to anyone...I think that's another reason that I take offense to some stranger just popping in here and spreading his ideas around like that....It's just not right

Call yourselves lucky, cuz Dustin just walked in the door, so my rant has to end for now

:D

Spallalala 01-06-2006 11:19 AM

I dont dig jesus... I know theres someone below or above us. I mean we came from somewhere. Not very religious. Seems to get in the way. Have explored a few too.

I love you, too, Rayne! And I agree with everything you said. I also know a lot of hypocrits, especially in my own church. I like to think I don't judge people on their looks, but I have found myself doing that from time to time, mostly when I'm in South Philly.:D

I also never understood why they make Christ with light hair and blue eyes - I don't know too many Jewish people with blue eyes!

To me, the only thing that matters is what's in your heart - if you're a good person (like Rayne) and are fun to be with, I'll be your friend. I don't care what you look like, what color your skin is, what religion you are, what sexual preferences you have, etc. It just doesn't matter!

Without Christianity, Republicans just wouldn't be as hilariously crazy.

George W. would have never said he talked to God.

Then he would have never made the troops pray for HIM, and send a form back to Washington, proving that they did.

And then where would we be?

slasherman 01-06-2006 11:49 AM

..I hate Christianity but I dont hate all Christians ...the same for all other religions...I dont like the structure of the systems...

I hope knife_fight is right, because if this isn't just pure sarcasm, this world is going down hill fast.:(

Haunted 01-06-2006 04:23 PM

It better be sarcasm, otherwise, I'll ask MM to take a look at the Constitution, The Federalist Papers, and the Treaty of Tripoli. These works are all penned by our "founding fathers."

Tat2 01-06-2006 05:27 PM

Religion has played the most significant part in the birth and destruction of nations in history. More people (millions+) have died because of their religious beliefs - ie., holy wars, the crusades, current war in Iraq, etc... than all other wars in history combined. Is there someone besides me that sees this as kind of an oxyoron?

Throughout history, religious fanatics were willing to die and kill for their belief in their chosen idol, be it God, Allah or who/what ever. Preach peace and love thy neighbor (unless they don't believe as you do, then kill them!) Hmmmm, what is wrong with this picture?

What about the remark made by Pat Robertson (respected Christian Leader on the CBN 700 club) in August, 2005 that called for Americans to assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez?

I personally don't have a problem with any religion or faith and believe that people have the right to worship and pray to what ever deity they choose. People can Pray to a cabbage head if they want, just don't push your belief on me.

In the same breath, I respect anyone with a strong belief in their God, and don't have a problem with open prayer, the display of the Ten Commandments etc., I don't have to pray if I choose not to, and I don't have to read the ten commandments if I don't want to. At the same time, if I am enjoying a horror movie, books, rock music, porn or a beer - that is my choice - so leave me alone.

There.....nuff said.

I was watching the news this morning and it seems mister Pat Robertson is back in the new, saying some comment something about the Irseli Primeminster DESERVES what he is going though. I haven't seen nothing else on this.

Posher778 01-06-2006 09:22 PM

i'm a christian... but that doesnt mean you have to be.. you can live your life how ever you want to and nobody can tell you otherwise. yeah and i agree that half the christians in this country are a bit on the insane side. just don't bash all christians when there are some opposite of what you think. ;):D

scouse mac 01-07-2006 02:39 AM

SKOOFx is right. Jesus, with his long hair and no job, was the first hippie on the planet. Roaming round with his lazy mates telling people to be nice to each other. Nothing wrong with that I suppose.

Britain is nicely non-religious, it suits me very well.

Haunted 01-07-2006 03:18 AM

Pat Robertson is probably one of the dumbest people on the planet. He should get a gig with Paris Hilton. Bible beating with Paris Hilton... now that's funny.

No offense Slash but that is an ignorant statement.. I am not a Christian but I will defend them in this instance. Just because you are a "Christian" does not mean that you are or supposed to be perfect or not prone to the pleasures of man. Thats like saying if your a Satanist you kill babies and slaughter lambs to sacrifice its just dumb. I personally have never met anyone who is perfect have you? When you do please let me know. I guess what your saying is that if you dont claim you are a Christian it is ok to act like an asshole and indulge??? But if you say you are a Christian and you do these things you are a biggot?

..if you say you'r a Christian you shall follow the bible..its that "easy"...if you dont do that ..you are per definition a sinner and a hypocrite...I have not made the rules .....
......and the rules are/was made to keep up the system which in this case are Christianity ........

Dumbest statement ive ever heard.
(Especially since the majority of France is christian... )
I hate how Americans use "If you dont like it , move to france" as a defense.

<rolls eyes>

And lemme tell you, France is one of the best countries in the world, with some of the most educated people.

MM, have you been? If yes, then i wonder what kind of experience youve had(maybe your the "ugly american". But if you havent, how can you use that as a reply to this comical thread?

Now this right here is something I've been waiting to hear for a long time. Thanks Posher778. That is sorta like the fact that my girlfriend is christian and I'm not(shhhhh!), but her mom is also christian, and she is shall we say....... as you said..... Insane. If her mom knew that I was goth, she'd have a heart attack because I'm not a "super christian"(no offense if you are). But oddly enough, my gf likes the fact that I'm a goth. So I'm cool with it.

The best way to sum up your post is..... Don't judge people.

Wow..... That's like the longest post I've ever typed on here..... interesting....

PR3SSUR3 01-10-2006 08:24 AM

An awful lot of wannabe radicals shouting about aetheism often go and ruin it by adding, carefully... "but I'm sure there is something out there/reason for being here/purpose to life" (delete as applicable).

Whimsical lightweights are scared to believe our inane existence is nothing more than what it is.

The need for there to be more than ourselves suggests mass feelings of inadequacy.

As you know, I live in the Southeastern US, a.k.a The Bible Belt. Guess what religion my whole family follows except for me and my bro, who is atheist...

These family members, including my parents, are always going on about: What's your religion done for you (to me)? Is that not the biggest bullshit question not to mention LOADED question in the world?

I personally believe in Jesus and actually respect others right not to. So when I read ignorant rants about chrisitans it makes me wonder why people cant respect other peoples beliefs. If you praise satan thats you I personally dont care but dont bash people who believe in Jesus just because you dont or chose not to.

BH14 01-10-2006 05:34 PM

Leave religion out of this forum especially for the people who wanna bash christians or jesus.... Respect everyone's religion. Whats so hard about that?

Some people want to bash a religion but they have no idea what its about. Some people never read 1 single page from the bible or stepped inside the church and all of a sudden, they think they know all about the religion. It's ridiculous.

scouse mac 01-11-2006 04:57 AM

The biggest problem with religion is not the message, but the messenger. Organised religion is deeply hypocritical. When you see the Pope (for example) and hundreds of cardinals living in luxury in the vast palaces in the Vatican State, with hundreds of millions of dollars being horded away, I always wonder how they can talk about charity to others when all that money could help millions of people worldwide. Religion on a small scale, within local communities, can make a big difference to peoples lives but so much more, given the resources of these organisations, could be done.

I personally do not believe in the existence of a God but Im happy to respect others peoples delusions ;) !

nicely said..
I don't understand this ..
what gives those catholic preists the right to molest all of those boys and get away with it??
because they read it somewhere in the bible.

what made parents from opposing churches throw rocks at small children
because they wanted to go to a school in thier area..??(protestant and catholic)
because they each beleive that thier god is the right god and that those innocent children had no place in thier society.

what caused 1000's of jehovah witnesses in the late 70's to go mad..??
cause they were told that 1975 was the year the world was going to end..
(my mother actually ended up in a psychiatric ward so i know wot em talking about.)

why were the jew persecuted..??
because they were blamed for the death of jesus.

why were females who did things differently in the olden days burnt at the stake and labelled witches..?
because thier practises were not recognised in the bible.

why are palestines and israel killing eachother..??
occupation of the holy land.

last but not least..
do i dare mention the mr jones saga and all the ppl who he convinced to commit suicide.

I want to point out a couple of fallacies here.

1. We should stop talking about religion especially if we're going to bash Christianity? So does that mean we can talk about religion if we're only gonna bash Judaism? Your comment was a little self-important don't you think?

2. I've read a huge chunk of the Bible (as much as I could stand), and studied Christianity as part of my degree. I can honestly say that I wasn't impressed. That is my INFORMED opinion.

3. Don't call Christianity "religion." It is A religion not THE religion. There are lots of practicing Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, Janes, Taoists, Indigenous tribes, Wiccans, and various religious scholars who would agree on that one. Their religion and/or understanding of religion is just as valid.

I'm sorry if it seems I'm coming down on you. For one thing, I'm having a bad day. For another, this is my life's study. It's something I'm passionate about.

No I respect what you have said here although I disagree I mean christainty is a large if not the biggest religon out there and as for the catholic church I dont support it because I feel it is crooked with all the sex scandal and as mentioned before the $ but Im baptist and I know they dont have that great of a reputation but theres alot worse the that even though sime baptist do shove religion in your face at times which I dont agree should be done. Its a big world people are different everywhere as are beliefs and that should be respected because it keeps things intresting in life.

Religion is a pointless exercise in controlling others behavior & sexual mores. Nothing else has caused more destruction in the course of human civilazition then religion. Accept maybe sex or religion & sex :D :p
