Another Saturday Night on HDC

My feelings can best be summed up in song:

It's another lonely evening
And another lonely town
But I ain't too young to worry
And I ain't too old to cry
When a woman gets me down
Got another empty bottle
And another empty bed
Ain't too young to admit it
And I'm not too old to lie
I'm just another empty head

That's why I'm lonely
I'm so lonely
But I know what I'm gonna do -

I'm gonna ride on
Ride on

I'm using sickness as my excuse.

So I'm validated.

yeah - she ran screaming AND holding her nose - at least it was a change of pace!

AUSTIN316426808 12-03-2005 05:35 PM

I'm not going out but I'm definately drunk.

Zero 12-03-2005 05:36 PM

probably best to stay in and have a nice intimate solo drunk (my favorite kind!)

(he says, finishing a bottle of pinot)

Elvis_Christ 12-03-2005 05:36 PM

its Sunday here and I'm nursing a hangover :(

Zero 12-03-2005 05:37 PM

was it worth it? (i always ask my self that when i wake up hungover)

lol. I meant no offense. I simply meant I'd rather do this than sit on my ass listening to my cd's but alas, I have no choice. And as far as a date go's. lmao! Girls seem to think I'm some psycho stalker because of how I dress(All Black)and act(Very quiet). So a date for me is impossible.:o Never even been on a date. The girls won't even take a second look without running off. lol

Zero 12-03-2005 05:40 PM

i'm fairly quiet as well (at least when i'm not on HDC - lol) but women tend to take me on, often as some kind of project. . . which works for me:D

Yeh it was a cool night for sure. I just hope I didn't say anything bad that'll come back and bite me (well kick probably) in the ass

Zero 12-03-2005 05:43 PM

there is nothing worse than the post-blackout fear that you've done/said something horrible and you're just waiting for someone to tell you about it.

Online I can't shut up. lol. Women generally look the other way when they see the giant spiked skull necklace I wear. lmao!

Zero 12-03-2005 05:46 PM

have faith my son - i have no doubt that somewhere is a woman in a black boustierre and a dog collar just waiting to get her paws on a find hunk of goth-guy like yourself!

Doc Faustus 12-03-2005 06:35 PM

Damn straight. I was Franz freakin' Kafka in high school and ended up becoming ironically popular because I was too scared of everyone to talk to them. The parties I actually showed up at I was swamped. Funny how Social Anxiety Disorder can be mistaken for dark and brooding. And giant skull necklace means ready to party to lots of chicks. At the college I went to guys with morbid jewelry who wore all black practically needed mace to drink alone at a party.

pinkfloyd45769 12-03-2005 07:15 PM

It's Saturday!! Woot Woot!!

Aye! That's the kinda girl I want to meet. haha. My problem is that the girls that find me attractive are about 13 years old (no, I'm not a pedo, I'm only 16). The ones older than that are usually dressing in pink and are too happy happy and want to change my dress style.:p Not happening. hahahaha

Zero 12-04-2005 12:21 PM

appropriate as this thread began with the haunting lyrics of ac/dc -

but now its another sunday afternoon - the long, dark teatime of the soul has begun. . . . and i've already finished reading the entire newspaper!!!

Haunted 12-04-2005 12:57 PM

Sunday is Gloomy,
My hours are slumberless,
Dearest, the shadows I live with are numberless
Little white flowers will never awaken you

Not where the black coach of sorrow has taken you
Angels have no thought of ever returning you
Would they be angry if I thought of joining you
Gloomy Sunday

Sunday is gloomy
with shadows I spend it all
My heart and I have decided to end it all
Soon there'll be flowers and prayers that are sad,
I know, let them not weep,
Let them know that I'm glad to go

Death is no dream,
For in death I'm caressing you
With the last breath of my soul I'll be blessing you
Gloomy Sunday

Dreaming
I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you
Asleep in the deep of
My heart
Dear

Darling I hope that my dream never haunted you
My heart is telling you how much I wanted you
Gloomy Sunday

I think this is a Billie Holiday song, but I'm not sure. However, it's gloomy as shit here tonight. The moors have nothing on my town tonight.

Zero 12-04-2005 12:59 PM

that captures sunday perfectly

Haunted 12-04-2005 01:03 PM

It almost makes me want a boyfriend...or girlfriend... which ever is available. My mum is singing "Scarburough Fair." That's another one.

i know what you mean - - - just someone to keep you warm under a blanket on this cold sunday evening. . .

scouse mac 12-04-2005 04:39 PM

An electric blanket does a good job on those long cold nights.

novakru 12-04-2005 04:52 PM

fluffy bunnies and teddy bears too:D

So,you don't have a human body to cuddle...it isnt always the preferable thing...I mean mine snores and steals my covers and gives me about 2 inches of space on a damn king-sized bed (what the hell is that about?? )
I mean sleeping alone is something married people dream about-literally.

Aye! I heard that.

scouse mac 12-04-2005 04:56 PM

Sounds like your hubby and my g/f have the same bedtime habits. I always wake up in the middle of the night with the equivalent of a postage stamp worth of blanket left to cover me up and a razor thin slice of bed to lie upon. She doesn't snore tho!
