i fell asleep in the theatre

noctuary 10-28-2005 07:15 PM

I don't know... I bet I can think of one that's worse... Um, wait. Never mind.

gorefreak 10-29-2005 04:06 AM

I can.... sort of. Anything that's just as bad as "House Of The Dead" but with grade a Z script/plotline acting, but that's not saying a whole lot.

Maerlyn 10-29-2005 04:50 AM

Giant Spider Invasion is a strong candidate for this award :D

Also House Of The Dead, The Gate 2 , and Frogs are my other favourites...

Jacob Singer 10-29-2005 05:25 AM

Resident evil 2 Apocalipsis:.....o my god!!!!the only thing positive about this żmovie? is that get free invitation

Tuno negro: a spanish production.....man.....a complet shit

Marroe 10-29-2005 08:09 AM

THE FOG REMAKE
Why did someone remake this.. Oh wait money? :D Mostly anyone who watches it :)

bwind22 10-29-2005 09:55 AM

I've seen The Dead Hate the Living and House of the Dead. Both are terrible, but HotD was on a bigger budget so that takes the cake as a shittier movie. They had more to work with.

crazy raplh 10-29-2005 11:18 AM

evil sister 2

phantomstranger 10-29-2005 11:47 AM

How about some oldies but crapies:

Draculas Dog
Jesse James meets Frankensteins Daughter

Billy The Kid vs Dracula

The Creeping Terror
Children Shoud'nt Play With Dead Things
Night Of The Lepus
The Manitou
Mausoleum
Maximum Overdrive

and on...and on
isn't sad that we can name far more bad horror films than good.

Fred Krueger 10-29-2005 06:27 PM

Nothing named in this thread is as bad as The House of the Dead when you consider all factors involved. It takes alot, and I mean ALOT to make me detest a horror film (I actually enjoy movies such as The House by the Cemetary) but I sat through all of House of the Dead and quite literally felt ripped off. Terrible movie, terrible story, terrible everything.

The STE 10-29-2005 06:28 PM

you clearly have not seen Polish Vampire in Burbank

Despare 10-29-2005 11:18 PM

Resident Evil 2 had some decent action, it wasn't a horror film. House of the Dead sucked like nothing has sucked before. Violent Cop worse? NO WAY! If you'd take something like Violent Cop out back and shoot it to put it out of its' misery then HotD needs to be taken to the cellar and beaten into a bloody pulp then defecated on and lit on fire.

psiren 10-30-2005 12:59 AM

probably the ''living dead at the manchester morgue''

Fred Krueger 10-30-2005 04:16 AM

HOTD's budget is the main reason why it has to be considered worse. They had alot to work with, and I just don't understand how they thought that pile of garbage could entertain us.

The Mothman 10-30-2005 04:25 PM

Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid.

ssooooosoosoosooosooooosooo bad.

The_Return 10-30-2005 04:30 PM

Jigsaw. Sweet Lord, makes House of the Dead look like The Shining. At least HotD was coherant! Despit obviously having NO budget, this movie wouldnt have sucked under any circumstance, believe me

Nope. It sounds like the problmes with House of the Dead were at the script level. Could've had Christian Bale, Ray Liotta, and had Ryuhei Kitamura direct, if the script is bad then the script is bad.

How can you say things like that about a script full of classic lines like this:

Bad Actor #1-You did all this to become immortal. Why?

Bad Actor #2-To live forever!

Now it takes real genius to come up with lines like that!

noctuary 10-30-2005 06:43 PM

Okay, okay... Now I've seen one that may just give HotD a run for its money. Hood of the Living Dead. I could only watch about half of it, so it may pick up a lot at the end, but what I saw was pretty dire.

No it doesn't pick up at the end. Hood of the Living Dead was every bit as terrible as it sounds, but again, we come back to the budget. Hood of the Living Dead was made on a next to nithing budget where as House of the Dead had a major studio backing them.

LMAO! :D I forgot about that. Even though it's unintentionally hilarious, it's so bad it's a strain to watch that crapfest.

Budget has nothing to do with it. I've seen movies with a low budget that really made a very watchable, atmospheric film. Look at the first Gingersnaps. That was one of the best werewolf films to come around in the long time. Now that they had a larger budget the last two movies were okay at best, but rather dry. Seems that sometimes people think that the budget will make the movie, when it's the acting, storyline and scares.

Jacob Singer 10-31-2005 05:08 AM

A real bad movie was Faust an spanish production that tries to copy Spawn comics......Same producers fo Dagon (Fantastic factory).....no coment

Maerlyn 10-31-2005 05:20 AM

Faust was really a bad movie, but far from being among the worst, i suppose.

Jacob Singer 10-31-2005 05:25 AM

...and how could be worst???? Just imposible

Look at the title.

Jacob Singer 10-31-2005 05:35 AM

I see the title and what? Faust is the worst movie I have see...for you it could be other.....diferent opinions. I don't change my point of view, sorry about that (but it is the idea of phoros: diferent people with diferents points of view)

A misunderstanding occured i think. (maybe i got your sentence wrong, or you got wrong sentence) It is of course, your opinion, and i can not say a word.

Jacob Singer 10-31-2005 06:03 AM

.....THANK YOU

gorefreak 11-01-2005 04:47 AM

Can't be any worse than anything by "Brain Damage Films" or "Dead Alive Productions". At least the movies mentioned, "House Of The Dead", "Jigsaw" and "Faust" was shot on film, not video.

Dee Hart 11-01-2005 04:15 PM

wors movie ever!

any night of the living dead movies.

giallobelly 11-05-2005 03:50 PM

There a lot of Brain Damage movies that are pretty good considering the lack of resources they have to make them. However, this is not the case with Goth.

Um... what? You really think that the Living Dead series is worse than stuff like House of the Dead and Faust? I'm sorry, I just really don't understand that...

The_Return 11-06-2005 07:16 AM

I think he's a confused troll. All his posts are pretty retarted.

VampiricClown 11-06-2005 07:51 AM

Poltergeist III was one of the worst too me. The effects were decent, but the acting was awful. The script was barely more than "Carol-Anne!!!" Over and Over.

Jacob Singer 11-06-2005 08:25 AM

Agree with you!!! But I'm my oppinion,Poltergeist I was the only one that have any interest, the rest are just the same but worst
