Anyone wanna buy this Freddy jacket?

Anyone?

Elvis_Christ 09-26-2005 09:02 PM

What sort of price are you after?

filmmaker2 09-26-2005 09:03 PM

Um......uh...........................$225.99?

Elvis_Christ 09-26-2005 09:07 PM

I'm not sold :)

Where'd you get it from in the first place?

filmmaker2 09-26-2005 09:08 PM

It's a crew jacket. Got it while working on the film. It's on Ebay right now, if you want to see some other pictures and stuff. "Freddy Krueger jacket" should find it.

Elvis_Christ 09-26-2005 09:13 PM

Those "college" (or whatever you'd call them jackets) kinda weird me out. What do you do on the film? How can we tell if its authentic?

filmmaker2 09-26-2005 09:17 PM

I supervised some of the appliance makeups--the "Freddy kill" scenes specifically. The jacket is being sold with two free gifts, one of 'em is a continuity polaroid used in the film, and the other is a rubber latex cast of one of the appliances used in the film.

The jacket is also WARM! It is very warming in the winter months.

Elvis_Christ 09-26-2005 09:20 PM

Does it smell weird?

filmmaker2 09-26-2005 09:24 PM

You know, I tried posting the link, but the link didn't work for some reason...aw, shucks, anyway. If you wanna see it, just do an Ebay search on the words "Freddy Krueger jacket" and it'll come up.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! That's just too funny...

filmmaker2 09-27-2005 10:42 AM

Here's the continuity photo from the "Carlos" sequence, and a rubber casting of one of the ears used in the scene.

filmmaker2 09-27-2005 10:44 AM

....

bwind22 09-28-2005 12:01 AM

Wow that's cool dude! I wish I had some extra cash because I'd consider taking it off your hands...

I had no idea you worked on Freddy's Dead. What other well known (Or even not so well known, I see alot) flicks have you been a part of?

Also, I'm gonna send you an IM right now with a question you may be able to answer for me. :D

bwind22 09-28-2005 12:06 AM

Okay, it's saying that you aren't allowed to receive private messages (WTF?) so I guess I'll just post my question here....

****

Hey man, since you are probably the only on this site that's actually IN the industry, I'm hoping you might be able to answer this question for me...

Me & some friends are working on a film right now that should be all done with post-production by February. Do you have any idea how/where we can find info on upcoming horror film festivals that are accepting submissions?

We have been scouring the net but havent really found much. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

bwind22 09-28-2005 12:10 AM

Hmmm....

filmmaker2 are you anti-social or something?

filmmaker2 09-28-2005 06:25 AM

Actually, I just kinda want to simplify things for myself, so I figured I would do all the communicating on the board. You could contact me through Ebay, of course.

I would keep searching on "Film Festivals" and see what that turns up. There seemed to be quite a few little film festivals popping up recently--there was one in Modesto CA just a couple of days ago...find one good one and contact them, or check out their links page, they should be able to hook you up with a few others.

I also have a BRIDE OF REANIMATOR crew jacket around here somewhere. It's really beat up, I mean it really went through the wringer, but it's a real one......anyone? I'll sell it cheep. Well, reasonably cheep.

Hey cool! Bride of Re-Animator too? Come on man, quit holding out! Post or link us to your filmography! (Or if it's top secret, you could message it to me.)

I only saw it once (several years ago), and I was stunned. Pretty weird flick!

I think it was Billy Bob's first movie.

no problem

filmmaker2 09-28-2005 10:41 AM

Thanx

I wanted to mention that I am watching the new colorized version of NOTLD right now, and all the gory stuff is red, red, red. Oh it's so disgusting, you wouldn't believe it.

bwind22 09-28-2005 03:25 PM

I checked out your ebay listing. Nice writeup. But I still dont see any sort of filmography or anything. Are you listed at imdb.com? If so, I could just check there I guess... (If I knew what your name was.)
