OMG...what a lame name I chose for this thread ;) Then again, if the shoe fits....SO ANYWAY...this is a two part thread...I'm sure it's been done before...but let's just go with it ;)

PART ONE: I was just wondering...what tv shows/movies etc would you like to see released on dvd that haven't been yet?

I get really tired of seeing semi-new shows come out on dvd within months of being on the air...but older shows seem to take forever sometimes.


PART TWO: What tv shows/movie releases are coming out in the next few months that you're looking forward to picking up?


1) I'm seriously dying for Melrose Place and BH 90210 to be released...LAUGH IF YOU MUST...I do not care...they were my guilty pleasures ;)

Did you get season one yet? It's great and was well worth the twenty bucks! Can't wait until season two comes out (though I hope we have more than just six episodes.)

Yep, I finished season one in a couple of nights :) Good stuff...and I'm pretty sure that season 2 has 22 episodes! So I'm very excited about that:)

I am going to admit this because MM admitted to it....though I despise Beverly Hills 90210, I love Melrose Place. That show turned into such complete trash; I couldn't look away....it rocked! :p

Looking forward to The Devil's Rejects, High Tension, Revenge of the Sith and The Amityville Horror remake (yes, I actually am looking forward to that one). Haven't seen any of them yet, but I will probably own at least two of those.

LMAO...yeah, I was WAITING for one of the other girls around here to ADMIT ;) haha...yeah, Melrose was definately more risque and very trashy...like a really really bad soap opera...but it was fabulous:p

I heard a rumor that 90210 was going to come out by the end of this year...but I don't think that's happening :( I know you're not interested in that one...however, I'm sure if they're planning on releasing 90210, MP can't be far behind :D YAY...once it comes out we can PM our little hearts out about it!!! ;)

Doesn't really fit into this thread, but I just picked up The Greatest American Hero series...Anyone remember that show, Man...it was funny and still is!:D

THE INVISIBLE MAN (1975) TV show with David McCallum

A great 70's sci-fi action show that I think ran a season or so and was pulled. I was sad when it got cancelled! This was the best. This one had it all: disco music, no bras, bluescreen effects.

Lots of one-sided fistfights with stuntmen pretending to be punched out by our invisible man hero. Didn't they look silly!

Great theme by Henry Mancini too.

I bought it at Wal-Mart, it was like twenty bucks, or somewhere round there...
The whole show starts off with the blonde haired guy finding that super-hero outfit he's wearing in that pic, and he puts it on and finds out it gives him super human strenght...The funny part is, is that he has no idea how to do anything...
Like when he figures out how to fly, the only way he can stop is by running into a wall or building...it's funny whacky shit...

The older guy in the pic is a detective that gets (some) help from the super-hero...I highly recomend it to anyone that liked movies like Dumb and Dumber, ya know, just funny stupid but well written movies...:D

I loved Dumb and Dumber, so I definitly have to check out this show now! Thanks for the reccommendation RoLLiNLiGhTs!

No doubt bout being in the 80's.....I loved it, the movies, most of the off-radio music, and some of the on-radio music too...
and back then I didn't have to worry bout a house payment or anything like that...life was pretty sweet...

But, getting back to the present, I can't believe your not out gettin your copy of that show...you do realise that they're gonna be all gone by the time you get there...;)

I absolutely love '80's horror films. And a lot of the television and music from the '80's as well. But the hair in general was pretty awful.....:D
