Has Horror.Com Ever Crept Into Your REAL Life?
 

We were watching Highway Hitcher the other night, and the main character was at a bar where he had to choose between Chicken Salad or Ham and Cheese...He chose Chicken Salad, I thought of Newb...And the guy himself reminded me a LOT of Zwoti...

I am closer to Haunted and Creeper than I will EVER be to any of my other family members (besides Dustin and my kids of course)...

We have had conversations at home that included Sam (usually whenever a monstrously-sized penis is mentioned...lol)...

And I find myself thinking of Zwoti several times a day, for many reasons...

When I consider going out, I often wish that Marroe, TaylorsMommy, MoonlitMeadow, and Nine were here to go out with us...

So many people from HDC are mentioned and thought about at my house, on a daily basis......Is that somehow 'odd'?

I honestly associate with far more people at HDC, than I ever would in 'Real Life'

Does anyone else here notice any part of Horror.Com slipping into their daily homelife.....Or am I just weird?...

HDC comes to play in my life all the time. I could be watching a movie and it'll remind me of someone or a song or a band can easily make me think of somebody from this site. I don't think you're weird at all because HDC comes into your life a lot. I betcha any amount of money (hypothetically speaking) that a helluva lot of people here will feel the same way you do. It's not weird, it's just normal.

I definately find myself thinking of people from here on a daily basis...especially the ones I've gotten to know better away from the forum. :) I consider a good handful of them my friends, and I'd treat them no differently than I would my friends in "real life". I worry about them when they're going through a tough time, I'm happy for them when they're happy, sad when they're sad, etc :)

So yeah...if it weren't for HDC, I would never have known all of you fabulous people existed :D And I feel lucky that I do.

I don't think of it the same way as the rest of you, but a lot of times during the day I'll start thinking, "I wonder if any new threads have come up?" and then I'll go home and sign on.

So I think about the site in general... although I love all of you... such and so forth, open mouthed kisses and what not.

I think about people from here all the time. Every time I watch a movie I think "What would zwoti/newb/urge/shanks/etc. think of this". Every time I go to South Street in Philly or New Hope I think "Gee, too bad BloodRayne/Haunted/MoonLit/etc. aren't with me, they'd love this".

So, no, sweetie, you're not weird!

Yeah, Bloodrayne, Creeper, and Zwoti are three of my closest friends. It's just an anomally, because we didn't meet in person. I'm always thinking of the girls on here and how we need to get together for a bar-b-q.

Everytime I get a "cat kiss" (head-but) from my Irish I think of Taylorsmommy and my heart bleeds.

I read cards for Nine. (I've done your reading, I just...well actually I'm going to do another...so you'll have two)

I think of Sam a good bit...never figured out why.

Well, like IA75 said...I don't necessarily think of Horror in the same weird, demented, twisted -- if not a bit too creepy in the way that you do Bloodrayne (I'm just kidding).

But I can say that this is easily the best board online. The people here are all very thoughtful and caring...without even really KNOWING each other.

I've had people ask me if I was ok if I haven't posted in a while...members wishing me a happy bday when I wasn't even around...not to mention all of the other nice gestures I see on here toward other members (not just myself). It's actually quite encouraging AND a bit ironic (considering it's a Horror site).

But bar-none the best group of imaginary friends I've ever had...lol.

I say we should all plunk down some cash to chip in for a big-ass haunted looking house and ALL move in together.

But I getcha Raynie, I've made a few great freinds here that I wouldn't trade for the world, and that I'm closer with than anyone I have here in front of me in my everyday life...and when we talk it feels like we're just kinda hanging' out, it's really cool. And yeah, a lot of different things remind me of all you creeps:p Maybe we're all weird.

HDC really doesnt come into play very often in my life BUT the other day I was talking to one of my ex`s and she asked me if I still post on that horror site. I said "ummm yeah of course" :D

However, when I see a new or obscure horror movie I want to post but most of the time I dont. I know I should but I dunno you know.

I think about a few here on a daily basis, was really thinking about Ritualistic the past few days here after hurricane Katrina and knowing that she was in Alabama...

there some parts of alabama hit hard but luckily we only got tree damage and some tornado damage. nothing like what other parts got. new orleans is gone.

As for creeping into my life, from time to time.

Frankly I live the life of a hermit. I like it that way. I have seen the reality of life and the people in it and for the most part have avoided human contact as much as possible. Most people I have met are selfish, self centered and basically not human.

I have made some friends here, some are still here and some are not and are sorely missed.

Mostly I long to leave all this behind and walk the earth. I think there is many things in this world that I could change with a little help from the Gods. and maybe a high powered rifle with a 24X scope.

Its funny that on a Horror forum you would find decent folks.

yes it does. i could be watching tv when all of asudden im think of bloodrayne, massacreman, wicked lady or and one of my friends on here. i have been here for awhile so i have seen many of my good friends come and go and i miss all the ones that go at least once a month

I think of Wickerman every time I blow my nose.

I think of Sam all the time when I watch movies. He's just synonymous with movies to me.

I think of you guys pretty much every day. Especially the ones that I've been closer with over the years...even though thats all kinda faded since I left for so long. Nine, Kpro, hb, and hate breeder are some people that specifically come to mind.

I've only got 1 real friend and there's my girlfriend along with very few family members who I keep in touch so I think of people here often, you guys are a fairly sized portion of the little to no life I have.

I basically think of different people in different situations...for ex:

Whenever my girlfriend drags me shopping with her and I see some cool goth stuff I think about Rayne.

when I heard about the terror attacks in the UK, right away I thought about Zwoti and Shanks.

during the last few days before I got to my aunt's house where there's a computer and electricity I was worried about Haunted and Ritualistic.

whenever I'm watching sports I think that it would be cool if It'sAlive and Drac were there(hard to find a sports fan who actually knows there stuff)
