Dawn of the dead or night of the living dead?
Which did You like the best?"Dawn of the dead" (the original) or "Night of the living Dead" (the original)
I preferred "Dawn of the Dead" myself. How about You guys? |
No love for Day?
|
Night of the Living Dead, though I love both and consider both two of the best horror films ever made. Day of the Dead was good, but I wasn't nearly as impressed with it as the others.
|
Dawn fan myself... More modern, still has a message that a lot of people can understand today.
|
Night hands down.
|
Dawn of the Dead. This movie means so much to me, it was technically what got me started as a horror fan. Night is a superb movie, but Dawn is where it's at. But I like day, too! Where's Day in this thing?!
|
Sorry, can't play favorites with the first three movies. To me they're all part of one big long movie now.
Now, "Land of the Dead," different story, studio-produced Romero film, doesn't seem like his, not part of series, I ignore, does not really exist, was never made. |

Night of the Living Dead, it just has to be
I did enjoy Dawn of the Dead But the tension was better in Night of the Living Dead it built up slowly, but steady Where as in Dawn of the Dead there was quiet moments that cooled the movie down too much for my taste |

I didn't include it because I knew "Night Of the living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" were by far the most popular of the three.I was just curious to see which one Horror.com members preferred the most. |

I think I went into it with high hopes and judged this one unfairly. I'll have to check it out again when it comes out on dvd. |

Night Of The Living Dead. I like the black and white, it gives it a creepier feel. Plus, even though it was low budget and Romeros first in the Trilogy, it shows that Romero has talent unseen in any other Director.
|
What struck me about Night of the Living Dead was the ending. Very few endings have bothered me as much and it bothers me every single time I watch it.
But Dawn of the Dead has some of my favorite gore and is kind of hilarious off and on. |

I'd have to say Night...there's just something eerie about it, and the tension between the charachters is very "real."...I mean, you can totally put yourself in their shoes.
I also love that its in black and white...definately adds to the creepy feel...I've never seen the color version, b/c it just wouldn't feel like the same movie to me. I'd actually love to see a new horror movie shot in black and white released in the theatres. I think that'd be neat ;):p |
