wasn't moaning at you ;) just showing my negative appreciation for that stupid creation.

It originated sometime last year, a guy recorded himself making car noises and distored them, to make them sound like he was copying formula 1 car noises. A few sites had it for download and it was amusing at first. Then some Uk company decided to release it as a mobile ring tone, then 'axel f' started up... then more versions come along... then more.. you get my drift.

S'cool man...actually the first time I HEARD it myself was about 2-3 years ago, on a random page...there was a still picture of an F1 racing car, and the sounds would play.
The page called it the "insanity test"...apparently if at any point you laughed, you were insane.
I wonder where it REALLY began...

Basically, if you download ANY sound file or ringtone under the name of "crazy frog", you'll understand.
You can also download video called "the irritating thing"
and another video under "crazy frog - axel F"
You MAY still be able to google "the insanity test" for the FIRST place I got ANY sight/sound of this...thing...

torture is not enough for whoever came up with that irritating thing........you can't turn the tv on without getting blasted by adverts for that thing

My kids have downloaded every song have the ring tones on their mobiles i am going insane plz somone kill it lol

I fucking love Crazy Frog - he gets right up everyone's noses, and his sound is genuinely mental.

Number 1 in the UK charts for a while a few weeks ago.

It hasn't really hit big in the US --yet -- but I was blasted with it when I was last in UK. The only good thing I can say about the frog is it kept Coldplay from the UK #1 spot (I hate coldplay - bunch of radiohead wannabees)
