Cat in the Brain

Anyone see this???

Its a Fulci film. Supposed to have some good and nasty gore in it.

I have been thinking of picking it up to add to my Fulci collection.

Comments?

I dont know about this movie, its gory as hell man, one of the goriest ive ever seen, but its not good at all as a film, not a great plot, if you can find a plot at all. Most of the movie is just gory clips of the directors movies. The only way you might like this film is if 1) you love gore, or 2) your a huge Lucio Fulci fan. I fit into both catagorys so i felt pretty well entertained throughout the film, but if you read reviews from different pages youll get alot of mxed stories.

Damn I cant believe I missed this thread.

Cat in the Brain AKA "Nightmare Concert" is definately a Fulci film to pick up. It does have some interesting gore in it. Fulci is known for having a small role in his films BUT this is basically about him. Not a bio or anything just a fucking trippy ass flick that stars him. Buy it when you get the chance.

FULCI LIVES!!!!!!

:D

I like Nightmare Concert, despite it largely consisting of scenes from other movies.

Brett Halsey casually slicing up his bird with a chain saw from A Touch of Death is always worth seeing again, as is the roadside head slicing from Andrea Biachi's Massacre (great shades!).

Plus, Fulci's (albeit dubbed) voiceovers in his head as he slowly goes mad are very atmospheric.

And what about the cat scratching away bits of his brain in the opening credits?
