They have done this at many other forums that I've been to, and since there isn't a whole lot going on around here right now, I figured we could do it here, too...

This is not necessarily a 'popularity' contest, as there will be no categories about who you like the best, or who's the hottest...It's simply to see where we rank as 'posters'...

This will be a private ballot, so you can be perfectly honest without offending any of your 'friends'...

Since there aren't many actual 'active' members here, this shouldn't take long and I will post the winners on Saturday...

Please send all replies to the PM box of Demon Seed, as mine is always almost full, and his is not.

If you can only think of candidates for SOME categories, but not all of them, just skip any that you can't come up with...

AND...If you don't like the idea...Don't participate...

I actually think these categories should go in there too.

Well...I was trying to keep it short and easy...But, if you guys wanna suggest other categories, and give candidates for them, just put those on the bottoms of your ballots (these will be kept secret also) when you vote...I'll add them all, and post them here when I tally the regular votes...

So, when it's finished...There will be the winners for the regular votes...PLUS the winners for other suggested categories, added at the bottom...


I have to say...I'm surprised that these votes are not quite turning out the way I thought they would...Especially for the 2 that I REALLY thought were gonna be a 'given'...Hmm...Interesting...

What meets the qualifications of a new member?

I was leaving that up to the interpretation of the voter, so that we wouldn't have to actually go back and check join dates...

I'm sure that each of us has an idea of who we think is still a new person and who isn't...I'm getting votes on several different ones already...And they're all pretty good...


OH...And if anyone's curious...For 'Most Outstanding New Member', Barbra's in the lead...With Entity, a close second...Surprising, huh?

Are these awards going to be given a cool hip name like the Emmys' and the Oscars and The Razzys? The Horrys perhaps?

So that way when someone wins, they can add '2 Time Horry Award Winner' to their resume or something like that...;)

I haven't changed my avatar in a year and a half. I should win that based on longevity. I don't think anyone here has had their av as long as me. (I wonder how many members are still around to vouch for that. I can think of maybe 6-10.)

I credit the green herb for making me too lazy to change it.

The bold ones are ones I answered the same as you. I skipped 11-14 though and also the signature one though so 3 out of 9 the same isn't bad. (I dont read them too often.)
