I say, that's what it started out as...But, that it has evolved and become SO much more...


What I believe happened was this...

We have already discussed EVERYTHING that we possibly could about horror, and horror-related subjects...Seriously, You gotta question about ANYTHING pertaining to Horror, use the search function, and you'll find it...We HAVE discussed it...

So...

We eventually branched out, and began to discuss EVERYTHING...These are a few of the subjects that have absolutely nothing to do with horror that I can recall having in-depth discussions about here (although we ARE all still MAJOR Horror Fans...*unless someone is here who doesn't really belong:p )...

Politics
Religion
Abortion
Gay Marriage
Drug Legalization
Welfare
Sex (in many different forms)
Astrology ;)
And even penis size:rolleyes:

I know that there are SO many more topics we have discussed here...Toilet Paper, Peanut Butter, Food (in SOO many ways)...But, I can't remember them ALL...So, help me out here...

What are some of the subjects that we have discussed here that have absolutely nothing to do with horror, but that we still managed to turn into full-fledged discussions?...I know you guys remember some good (silly, ridiculous, or even somewhat serious) ones...

I dont see the problem with it really. It takes up time until we can think about anoter horror movie that we havnt posted yet.

marijuana, banishment, regicide, turner broadcasting station....

you name it, we've DONE it!

I believe that even the people who DID have a problem with it at first (myself included) have eased up a bit as they have realized that we have run out of 'horror-related' topics to discuss...Which has been proven by so many repeat threads..

Of course, this forum is still no place for bigotry, racism, or pornography (even though we have discussed these subjects, without actively participating in them)...There are other forums on the 'net that are made specifically for those things...

My favorite is when people do those "post your pet" threads, those are just great. Horror fans, especially modern ones, I think, like to put up a "badass" sort of front, and it is comforting to see that so many of them have some kind of flea-ridden, squeaking, sneezing little furball at home.

I've always loved the randomness of the general forum...but I must say everytime I come in lately I have seen some pretty strange topics, haha...but I still love it

a snail trail. girls are suckers for cute animals, even the most ugly dog can be the cutiest. Things have changed a bit since I first came to be on the horror forums, but then again my perspective may have changed. I think a member or two has ignored me honestly.
