Not sure if this has already been done...but I thought it'd be neat to hear some REAL ghost stories...what kinds of creepy/scary/weird/strange etc. things have you seen or have had happen to you? :)

This didn't happen to me personally, but after my grandmother died my grandfather said that the doorbell would start ringing late at night...he also said that her jewelry boxes would start playing....kinda creepy ;)

A guy who used to live in my dorm my freshman year died in a fire at a local bar 2 years ago.

I guess the rumor is that they closed the kid's room indefinitely. His roommate said he could hear him every night when he was trying to sleep, and he'd find things missing every once in awhile.

well there was this burnt out building that i passed everyday so one day i decided to check it out with a friend so i went in and i looked all around. anyway i was right in the middle of the building when i heard something crash on the floor so i checked it out and i opened the door and i say this person with his/her hud put with like a nife i think it was and they chased me. i didnt know my way around so i hid under this desk thing and then they went past and i just ran for it to the door.

i have this large box shaped thing in my kitchen ..

it keeps things cold ... one part of it causes liquids to freeze completely !!!!!!!

it freaks me out man !!!!!!!!

You know if you stay in the "box" for more than 30 minutes you'll gain the ability to see shape-shifters.

That's pretty creepy. Although...if he's a college kid...maybe the missing things were just under the piles of laundry on his floor? :p :D

Some friends of mine used to live in this apartment in Hollywood, an old place built in the 40's, and they had all these animals in cages and tanks...rats, snakes, lizards, birds, and so on. All kinds of weird stuff. It doesn't have anything to do with the story, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Anyway, only one weird thing happened there, but it was really weird. I wasn't there when it happened, but I believed their story.

They said that late one evening, they were watching TV in the livingroom, and there was a huge BANG! sound. They turned and looked, and saw that the french doors facing the street had flown open by themselves, apparently hitting the walls sharply and causing the BANG! sound. And in front of the doors, they could see a faint transparent image of a young blond woman, just sort of standing there.

Fine blue electrical "energy bolts" were being emitted from her. They heard a crackling noise coming from the electrical discharges, or whatever they were. After a few moments, the girl and the electrical bolts disappeared, leaving only the open french doors as proof of the event. This happened around 1982.

Hey, well, hey: The one I posted is effing TRUE, huh? That shit really happened. I wasn't there, but I assure you it really happened like that, or at least that they said it happened like that. So my story is effing TRUE. True story!

Yeah, well............the fact that I didn't actually see it happen makes it sort of a bummer. I'm pretty sure those people really saw what they said they saw, though. As far as what it WAS, well, that's a different story. Who can say?

I must say that I kind of have to agree with him though. I'm waiting for some stories too. I don't really care if people make them up at this point, as long as they entertain me;)

I was at home typing on my computer, drinking a Coors Light when all of a sudden this ghost jumped out of the wall and started calling me names! I told her to leave but she pushed me off the couch and turned the TV to Golden Girls. I was all, "What the fuck!" but she shooshed me and kept watching.

I was pissed, but more IMPORTANTLY... I was scared.
