Nine Inch Nails

Anybody heard the new single from NIN, "The Hand that Feeds" off the album "Without Teeth?"

I downloaded the video for it, it sounds pretty good to me.

Marroe 05-01-2005 02:09 AM

I just saw the video for the first time, it was pretty boring

barbra 05-01-2005 10:28 AM

I heard the song last night for the first time and you know... I really didn't like it. I have a friend who is all about Trent and NIN, I emailed him to see what he thought, I'll be suprised if he likes it.

trent is overrated

urgeok 05-03-2005 06:21 AM

i cant take more of a couple of seconds of NIN at a time.
I used to like it .. it just sounds like the same damn thing to me over and over again.

agreed

barbra 05-03-2005 05:04 PM

trent do any sound tracks lately?

ythompson86 05-16-2005 01:28 PM

I actually like the video, but still think that "I want to fuck you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside" is still the most romantically sexy thing that I've ever heard. ;)

Carpe Noctem 05-16-2005 07:49 PM

The new album blows. If they were trying to make a great comeback, they failed. I expected this to be the best thing since sliced bread, but it's just like everything else after Pretty Hate Machine.

Marroe 05-16-2005 10:28 PM

*yawnz*

I still don't see anything good about the video

Well Eminem is a white guy who acts gangsta on MTV, but everybody enjoys him just fine. Plus just because you age, doesnt mean your music or personality will auto-change.

unless you're phil collins, peter gabriel, david byrne, or sting ..

in which case you switch to World Music in an attempt to remain cool (with other 40 something tree hugers wearing funky vests)

god bless David Bowie .. the only geezer who retained any dignity and relevance.

Great man..but i gotta give it up for Clapton. From the Yardbirds, to Cream, to his solo work with previously mentioned Phil Collins on drums. He still is one of the best guitarists of all time i think.

he is .. but i lost interest in his music after cream and derick and the dominos.

I never found his solo stuff to be ballsy enought to be interesting.
(a good guitar alone hasnt been enough for me since Hendrix.

Elvis_Christ 05-22-2005 06:47 PM

I'm not really a big fan of Eric Clapton at all. Cream had some amazing songs tho. I've been listening to heaps of Pantera recently Dimebag's guitar work is right up there with Hendrix especially on Reinventing The Steel (the opening to Revolution is my name kicks my ass). I've been meaning to check out the new NIN album but haven't got round to it yet. The Downward Spiral will always be one of my all time favorite albums truely an amazing album (the new deluxe edition is fucking awesome - the bonus disc has some of the best remixes ever done).

novakru 10-27-2005 05:28 AM

um,Trent is God...didn't you hear?

And BTW,Trent is not chubby in the least,he's short though-lol.

All Phil Collins does any more are Disney movie soundtracks:D

What happened to your hair Trent........you got lice in one of those under developed countries...right?
That has to be it.

Advice:some men really NEED hair.

scouse mac 11-08-2005 05:26 AM

The Downward Spiral and Further down the spiral are great albums, this new one starts well but fades like a son o bitch from halfway thru, i give it a B-

noctuary 11-08-2005 10:43 AM

Er... I don't really like NIN very much. Ever since I read Reznor's comments in Industrial Nation blasting Bill Leeb (of Front Line Assembly) I've thought that he was a bit of a jerk. Looking beyond that though, his first three records still hold up pretty well. I thought the newest one was horrible though.
