I don't know if you've read it but if you have surely remember it.
From Clive Barkers Books of Blood, Midnight Meat Train.

Well according to his web site Clive Barker's Lost Souls, Midnight Meat Train is becoming a movie.

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this is awesome.

lol I remember the thread about this film, months ago, I think the majority said the title sounded like some cheezy porno flick.


btw hope the film is good.

I imagine not a lot of cgi. It should contain a bit of make- effects though. It's sure to be bloody.

Yeah, it definately sounds like a low budget gay porn. Like one of Clive's fantasys or something...

re-read it this morning so here goes,

leon kaufman always dreamt of living in new york, but his "palace of delights" hasn't lived up to his dreams. in fact the day he arrived there was a brutal murder on the subway, one in a series of atrocities in which people are found strung up and butchered on subway trains.

after working late one night leon falls asleep on the subway....when he wakes up the car is deserted, but a ripping noise is coming from the next car......the butcher has caught the same subway and this is the "mignight meat train"

i was reading the books of blood not long ago ..
it could be made into a feature easily by adding a back story..

clive is at his best with short stories .. his novels arent very good.
he tends to run out of steam in the end.

Holy crap they're making an MMT movie?!?
That is an awesome story! Just as long as they keep it faithful and keep in the gory parts, It should be amazing.

At least somebody is reading again and not just remaking a movie they say on DVD last week.
