any listeners?

just curious, what bands would you consider to be "horrorcore"?

all i know is the rap horrorcore, so if you mean in rock horrorcore i couldnt name one.

Gravegiggaz would be the only horrorcore rap I like. The RZA is awesome.

Horrorcore as rock I believ is refered to as Death Metal. I'm not really into it, but I've seen Morbid Angel, Deicide and Slayer before in concert (They were with Pantera and Static X though. I wasn't there for any of those bands.)

somebody started a thread about this lord knows how long ago and I did a search and Necro came up. I downloaded one of there songs and it was probably the worst thing I've ever heard. So no I don't listen to it.

Oh yeah Necro! I forgot about him! Someone got me that CD for a birthday once but yeah, it sucks. I don't listen to it.

I see the "adding the -core suffix to make it seem more original or whatever" fad hasn't died down yet. Is there snuffcore yet?

I like twiztid, their collaboration with icp and marz dark lotus, right from their days of H.O.K, I've thought they were pretty solid.
Also, a guy under eminems lable called king gordy is pretty good too...

I've heard tech9 get referred to as horrorcore, not that I personally agree with that, but I like him too.

I also know a guy doing some horrorcore stuff, from someplace in the US, if he comes out, he'll be under the name doctor Leper...I might link some of his better stuff if anyones interested.

Twiztid is pretty good IMO, I really like Necro, But as for Tech N9ne being horrorcore? I dont think so either, although i really like most of his music (excluding: Im a Playa). I guess the song "Psycho Bitch" could somehow apply to being horrorcore, beings the beat is basically the theme from Halloween.

I like Marz (not MARS, theyre 2 different ppl)...first heard him in dark lotus, but he's pretty good on his own too, fuckin' great, wicked weird beats...filthy ass lyrics, but it's good...

Twiztid is the wicked shit. I love them. NATAS is pretty bad ass, as is Esham on his own. I never got into Necro. I too wouldn't put Tech into the horrorcore label. Dark Lotus is much better with Blaze and ABK rather then Marz IMO.

I guess I just heard and preferred the original, the rerelease always just sounds "wrong" when I hear it.
Marz is good...moreso on his own.

Yeah, he was one of ICPs biggest influences. I think his solo stuff is pretty good but I like the stuff he does with Natas a lot better. HOK is good too. I alos like L.U.Cifa (I think that's how it's spelled)
