I suppose this thread has been done before, but that's too bad because I'm doing it again.

I have my tongue pierced. + my ears.

Have any piercings?

Not weird really, ears + tongue = common. Especially ears.

I think he meant the coincidence, not that piercings are weird.

When I was 14-17 I had quite a few, now it's just my ears's and my tongue. The tounge ring became part of me I think, I'd probably swallow my toungue if it weren't there:)

Personally, I think piercings aren't original, they don't make you unique. Piercings aren't "art".

They are only for people who wanna look different and be different. They aren't creative. Which is fine if you wanna be different but it doesn't mean that you are.

once upon time I had several piercings. but it kinda got to the point where less and less people I liked had piercings, and more and more jocks and rednecks had them. I took all mine out. thankfully I haven't gotten tired of any of my tattoos

ya know, some people have piercings because *gasp* they like them. ;) Definately not everyone's cup of tea though, some people like tattoos and piercings others like the "cleaner" look.

Don't have any now. I have bad luck with piercings. I had my ears pierced when I was a kid and they got infected so I let the holes close over...never bothered to get them re-pierced. Had my belly pierced and had to take out the barbell when having surgery...a couple of days later I tried to put it back in and it wouldn't go in. So I've given up on piercings...I do want a labret piercing someday though or some sort of lip piercing...I don't know if I'll ever get one or not.

That's why I got mine done. A lot of times I'll enter a room, start snorting, get my feet ready, and just charge in.

Tattoos are OK. I ended up with about 26 total.

But the idea of a ring in my tongue conecting with my dental prosthesis--ugh.

Trust me, getting used to an upper plate took some doing.
