Watched this film earlier on today and really enjoyed it. It's defintaley one of the better sequels in the series apart from Jason's death in the end is pretty fuckin' lame assed. I heard there was quite a bit cut out of this one (I watched it off a old VHS copy I have). But yeh cool movie.......

good movie but i hated the psychic powers thing, it was just to gay for me...plus yeah the ending was corny... 78979 men with machine guns can't kill jason but a some old dead guy can with a small chain and drown hi... drown wtf jason lives undewater how can he drown?

Yeh I thought that was really lame too. I liked the psychic powers thing.

I thought this movie was weird for that too. In this movie Jason is just boosting about in the water like it doesn't faze him but in Jason vs. Freddy he's scared shitless of it and won't go near it.

The last 20 min. or so of this film is actually some of the best in the serie's :)

my fav jason movie was Jason Goes To Hell. it was really pointless and the body hopping theme was pretty gay and didn't make much sense, but it was packed full of brain exploding gory action!

Okay, i have never been a huge friday the 13th fan. Are we seriously saying there was a movie with jason and Carrie "I killed everyone at my prom and crucified my mother" carrie?

Jason goes up against a psychokinetic [sp?] girl. Itz been called Jason vs Carrie, not literally.

Hmm...I loved that one too, I had nothing against the psycho powers and I thought it was very nice. But still number V ranks highest to me. Something about that film makes it great. Yeh, friday the 13th series is my favourite horror series yet. Catch, Ell Voorhees.

I sent an idea in to New Line for "Freddy vs Jason 2" where Freddy and Jason would meet Carrie and her sister Rachel who have been brought back from the dead.

Yeah, when movies have a lot of sequels you can tell which writers/directors actually know the backstories and which ones want to cash in on the franchise name.

He looks the best in this one. The spine coming out of his back. Wicked hawt.

my fav would be jason lives and i was wondering about the sequal to freddy vs jason i heard its not happening because they couldnt get the rights to ash then i hear it is does anyone have legit info if the sequal is happening or not

Damn, i hope Freddy and Jason vs Ash actually happens :D

I've heard that Ash will not be in it however they are making FVJ2 and this time the story will focus more on Jason kind of like how the first one focused more on Freddy.

As far as Jason vs. Carrie, I think most of us know that Friday 7 was kind of like Jason vs. Carrie with the girl who had mental powers like Jean Gray, however, this movie I heard was supposed to have been Freddy vs. Jason, however, Paramount and New Line could not come to an agreement with each other so the idea for FVJ has been in the works for years!

But honestly, FVJ does not need a sequal, it did its job. If the public wants more of Freddy and Jason then just make separte movies. Make a Jason that explains the begining of Jason X better, I mean how did we get from FVJ to Jason being captured by the military. Make a Jason that fills in the gaps. I don't think they should continue with super Jason from Jason X b/c that was just fucking retarded! I've heard that there was an idea for a Jason in the snow which would be cool. But I'm hearing that that may be the idea for FVJ2.

In my opinion, the WORST one was 'Jason Takes Manhattan...That was just terrible...And how long was he even IN Manhattan, huh?...About 15-20 minutes?...Stupid...

Actually this is the only Friday the 13th film I really enjoyed, surprisingly enough. Never really understood why I liked this one and not the others, but there you have it.

I couldn't wait for Jason goes to Manhatten, when it came to my area, me and some friends went and saw it.....man, talk bout being disapointed!:mad:

I have to say part 4 is my favorite...:)

I thoughbt part 7 was a great addition to the series. it shows how much damage Jason can take.

^^ It is definatley one of the better entries in the series. I really dug part 6 aswell for its dark humour. Damn fun film.
