take jason x, leprechaun 4, hellraisers 4 . i did like them but it's like do they think they can scare us more in space? it's true there are less places to hide,i mean where the hell you gona go outside?

Killer Clown#1 11-12-2003 12:40 PM

They do it because it's something diffirent, so fans like you don't complain about how the movies are all the same.

allmykids 11-12-2003 12:48 PM

I've been away for awhile and come back and looks like the flaming has began. Once upon a time this was a flame free board. Now it looks like it's not that way anymore.

Anyway, I think it alot of instances they throw these characters into space to prove that they can't be killed. If they are still around 1000's of years in the future then they are proven imortal.

Killer Clown#1 11-12-2003 04:33 PM

Sorry Tony it's just that I can't stand it when people insult my intelligence.

allmykids 11-12-2003 04:49 PM

well it's human nature when your attacked you attack back, so mabey i took it personely mabey i should'nt have , let's start over. i do like to hear what people think. good or bad!

Killer Clown#1 11-12-2003 04:57 PM

Your right I should not have said "fans like you" that was a bad example.

crazy clown 11-12-2003 05:28 PM

i hate jason x and lep 4 the were all really bad.

Personally, I think they might throw them into outerspace to attract the Sci Fi "goers" brings more of a different kind of crowd in. Some of the people around here heard Jason was in outerspace and ran to the Movies..even though they had never found interest in the earlier movies...MAYBE it's a change up like Tony and Killer Clown touched upon..something to prove their immortality..something so people can't complain "it's alway the same..scarey house, camp ground..guy kills bimbo sluts, stupid teenagers and is indestructable"...Yea where can you go in OuterSpace? An escape pod? Out side..hide out on the moon for awhile? I think not..draws more interest.."How the hell will the idiots get away this time?" " Will the evil villian finally bite it?" Shit Hollywood has many cards up its sleeve and they are just pulling one..regardless how stupid it might seem to some of us. THEY MADE THEIR BOX OFFICE MONEY.

No fucking doubt brother. Anyway....I loved Jason X. I have never laughed so hard at the theater. I'm not a fan of the Leprechaun flicks, but part 4 was also damn funny. I did not like Hellraiser Bloodline. It's like the others were comedies so I liked them cuz they made me laugh. They really couldn't make a comedy with Bloodline and I'm glad they didn't try.

mudsliptones 11-14-2003 06:15 AM

well, for hellraiser bloodline it's easy

they tell the story of the box, every beginning of a story mist have an end
so, what to do, pinhead had to really die, not just so he could come back
so, they prollie were thinking about a 5th one already (now a 6th and 7th), so they had to figurte out a way
what's the solution, in the future, how to show it at his best? in space in a spaceship

AUSTIN316426808 11-14-2003 06:22 AM

I AGREE WITH AVENGER HORROR+SPACE=A FUNNY AS HELL MOVIE.

VenomX 11-14-2003 08:42 AM

Sometimes you just need to throw something off the wall into a franchise to liven it up again. Like that stupid ass Howling movie that took place in Australia. That movie was weird. Or Star Trek 4, also weird.

Ritualistic 11-14-2003 03:36 PM

I dont know why they start throwing characters into space... who cares though.. horror fans start complaining about movies being the same but when the writers do change it they complain about that as well..
