(Tough one!) Anybody know this movie?

When i was about 13 years old (around 1989) I saw this horror movie on tv, wich i was actually too scared to watch, so i only remember VERY small bits from it. Here goes nothing:

1. The movie is either from the 80s or 70s and its NOT "Pet Cemetary"

2. (Around the beginning i think) A man is walking through a cemetary at night and suddenly a person is bursting up from one of the graves 20 feets up in the air. (might be a vampire)

3. At the end of the movie (just before the credits begins to roll) our hero is hugging this lady, and while doing that they keeps slowly turning around and around. Then suddenly the guy stops and stares right into the camera (maybe he is bitten, i cant remember). The end.

Now, i know this is inzanly few hints to give, but ive been looking for this movie for about 10 years now, and is there a better place to ask about it than on this site? NOIDONTTHINKSO!!!

Im really hoping that some of you has any idea to wich movie it could be or have any leads to help me.

Im counting on you guys!! ;)

The ending sounds like the Tommyknockers, but I'm not sure if that's the one you were talking about..

lol. Yeah, my thought process was -

person walking through cemetry + grave = buffy???

But yeah the time frame did not match. It was all of 5 seconds of thought.

;)

Sorry Angra.

X¤MurderDoll¤X 08-09-2008 03:48 PM

you used 300% less smileys aswell

Phalanx 08-09-2008 08:10 PM

The jumping in the air bit...only two films came to mind, neither of them particularly sounds like yours, but I got Beetlejuice, and Mister Vampire.
Beggining bit sounds like both, but overall sounds more like MV.

Angra 08-10-2008 12:30 AM

It's neither.

I'm 100% sure it wasn't an Asian horror movie.

Also, the jumping part isn't in the very beginning of the movie as i recall it, but more like 30 minutes in it.

Hey guys. I hope somebody can help me. I'm looking for a movie, a sci-fi/horror from the 80's. It's about an alien who can throw little monsters with teeth, they're resembles of throwing stars. I know it sounds silly but it's a childhood memory and i just can't find it even though i tried really hard. :) I even found that, the same question was asked on http://en.allexperts.com/q/Scifi-Mov...lien-movie.htm but the guy didn't know the answer. :D Thanks anyway, and sorry for my english. :)

I checked it, unfortunely that's not the movie i was looking for. Maybe this will help. It's the post from the site i was referring.

"Since you managed to answer my last question very accurrately (thanks again!!) I just remember another "
Alien infesting Earth" movie from the 80's.

This one is about an alien (I remember it having a big white head) that lands in a small village somewhere in the States. The ability it has is shooting small creatures with tentacles and with teeth on the lowerside (almost like a ninja's throwing star). There is even one scene where people flee into a car and the front window is full of these "alien throwing stars" trying to bite through the glass.

At the end they eventually manage to kill the alien, but the entire movie the main threat seems to come from the little throwing stars, the alien itself doens't do very much, except throwing his critters at people, who eat away at them."

Thanks in advance guys. ;)

When you mentioned cemeteries and graves, I immediately thought of 'Cemetery Man', but then it was ruled out with the ending and other details you gave. :(

Yea, it's not Cemetary Man.

I don't recall it to be the least humorous.

But a scene that vaguely comes to mind, is where the hero and some other guy has found something like a grotto. Maybe the grotto was in a building or a church, can't remember. But i remember that in the grotto there was some kind of creatures. Like big worms..... i think..

Big creatures? 70's-80's movie? Reminds me of 'Night of the Lepus', 'Bug' and 'Empire of Ants' (all 70s).

Unfortunately, those movies are not about worms.

But it might be 'Squirm'? Which is about worms.

No, not big creatures. Like the size of a cat i guess. And they weren't a big part of the movie. Just that 1 scene.

The story, as I remember, is about the lead character trying to hunt down the jumping guy from the cemetary.
