December 21: Producer talks CREEPSHOW 3 Taurus Entertainment has confirmed to FANGORIA that they are working on CREEPSHOW 3, although—as with the company’s upcoming DAY OF THE DEAD 2: CONTAGIUM—original director George Romero will not be involved. "Yes, we are currently developing the stories for CREEPSHOW 3," says Ana Clavell, who is heavily involved with the project and served as the co-director/screenwriter on CONTAGIUM. "We will respect the format of the first two films, and we’ll probably make an announcement in mid-February." As for what format the anthology film will debut on, Clavell notes, "CREEPSHOW 3 will be designed for all formats, and we will let the distributors decide where or how to exhibit it." Clavell also mentions that she is unsure why the official DAY OF THE DEAD 2 website GOT closed, but does maintain that fans can expect to see the finished film sometime in 2005. "I’m not 100 percent sure why the webmaster decided to shut the DAY OF THE DEAD 2 site down," she says. "He cited undisclosed personal reasons, which we fully respect. However, for updates, please visit www.taurus-entertainment.com. We’ll be posting there for the time being." The filmmaker also tells Fango that there has been no feedback from Romero on the DAY OF THE DEAD follow-up, and that buffs should expect a very gory movie that pays homage to the classic zombie series, rather than a remake or a straight sequel. "Horror fans tend to be very knowledgeable, and I can say that my heart was in the right place," says Clavell. "I would never dream of aping a masterpiece like the DEAD trilogy." —Calum Waddell I got this information from Fangoria Magazine. It won't involve George Romero, Steven King, or Tom Savini, so I'm a bit skeptical about it. The first two Creepshows were amazing, but I think it was because of those three men; without them, Creepshow 3 won't be as good. I just know it. But I'm still looking forward to it. |
WOOHOO! I'll love it as long as the screen turns a different color everytime someone dies. I really like those cutaway death scenes in the first two.
|
I really hope it doesn't suck. Tom Savini didn't do the FX, so I have no idea what to expect.
|
I got a bad feeling about this...
I wanted this for sooo many fucking years! and now that they're finally going to do it... I think its going to suck without George |
Don't think, Sedated; it IS Gonna suck w/o Romero!:(
|
well, #2 sucked ...
except for 'thanks for the ride, lady !' i still have a standee for that movie oddly enough |
The Raft is the best mini-movie in all of the Creepshows.
|
i have the 1st one on dvd and i wanna get the 2nd i liked it......ill see this one.....but i just dont think itll work its ognna be just like these "modern horror" and they are gonna fuck it up i can tell its gonne be too new.
|
...
I thought both creepshows were great.
I found out about this movie by accident awhile ago, I can't believe I didn't make a post about it. :p Anyway, I lost interest when I found out the neither King nor Romero had anything to do with it. :( |

yeah like i said its gonna have that new horror vibe to it like most of these shitty movies nowadays and king or romero wont be in it so yeah itll prolly suck but then again maybe not who knows

oh wait there was this one time ... i thought i was wrong about something - but i was mistaken ... |
I dont really remember any of Creepshow 2 although im pretty sure i watched it...the first one was good though..
And if Tom Savini, or Stephen King, or George Romero has nothing to do with it than more than likely its gonna blow...unless they bring back Leslie Neilson :D |
I thought "Creepshow 2" was better than part 1. The last guy in "The Raft" was such an idiot, I mean don't sit there and taunt the blob monster, get in your car, and bail.

"Suck it blob Monster, Suck it" and than I would have died.... |
Well if they make it I will watch it!!

What? |
Well if they make it I will watch it!!
yeah ill watch it too it might be good who knows |
No King, Romero, or Savini...
Yup it's gonna suck... |
I think it'll be worth a watch despite Romero, Savini and King not being involved. But even if they were it wouldn't make much difference with the exception of Savini all those guys have done is shit for the last few years coasting along on their past truimphs so it'll be worth a watch but dodgey either way.
|
Ah yes it has Elvis. I never thought about that. None the less it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Horror.com will always be here we can come back and nag about it later. :p
|
Yeh man! For sure!
|
haha yep
|
i don't think not having romero or king involved is what would make another creepshow suck....just the fact that its 2005 and creepshow 3 is in the works is what will make it suck.....cgi, really attractive unknown actors along with unnecessary "witty" bantor reflecting signs of the times are whats making horror movies suck today....i hope ted danson is in the shit....bring back adrienne barbeau and her big old titties!
|
omg dude......that is what i always wanted to say about new horror movies and couldnt think of it
Nice job man |
I hate CGI so much....eh they would ruin this.
