New Year's Eve Traditions
 

I ususally just get so drunk I don't remember what happened, so now I am thinking of something a little more memorable to start this year. What do you guy's do?

Sit at home, alone. Hopefully that will change this year.

That all depends........Did I find a babysitter first?

My and my friends usually go to a nite club in Sydney somewhere and dance the night away.

A couple of years ago we went to a dance party on Bondi Beach (called Mobile Home). That was pretty cool. Everyone having a mad time, dancing on the beach - on a hot summers night.

We also try and see the fireworks around Syndey Harbour and the bridge. An example is my avatar.

I have done anything in the last 5 years, since i had my first oddly enough. I doubt that will change this year :( .

We usually just stay home. We will watch the different New Years shows, a couple of movies and then go to bed. Occasionally we have friends over, play cards, and pig out, but not that often. God I live a boring life, kids will do that to you.

I usually down a bottle of liquor and hang out with friends and family...

Sober... yep

the usual for me is just staying home-this year im going to the boyfriends...maybe to a party..who knows what the nite'll bring...but i know one thing...IM DRINKING AND SMOKING TILL IM PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate newyears.

I hate the crowds,
I hate the ALWAYS LATE overcrowded public transport.
I hate the abundance of stupid, puking drunk ASSHOLES...
I hate the abovementioned transport being full of the abovementioned people.

I hate crowds.

I hate that down by sydney harbour, where you see the fireworks, it's so damn crowded that you can literally take about 5 fucking minutes to move about 10 metres, pushing your way through the fucking crowd...not to mention, no motherfucker has thought about opening a place to get any decent food around there, and/or actually have ot OPEN on NYE.

I hate the noise.
I hate how everyone shouts and goes "ooooh, aaaaah" at all the same freakin' fireworks that get done, year after year.
I hate losing people, and that shit ALWAYS happens.

Not to mention that most NYE celebrations in which ultra-large amounts of people gather - just a terrorist attack waiting to happen. Seriously, it hasn't happened yet, but I bet somewhere, someone's eventually gonna hit a NYE celebration...

FUCK NYE.

I'll stay at home, chill with my girl....maybe we'll go over to a friends place (yes, we're part of a NYE hate circle), sure, maybe get a little drunk, stoned....whatever....watch a dvd, catch the fireworks on tv, so I can look at all the masses squashed together, laughing at how fucking stupid they are...eat good food all night, play music LOUD, and maybe do some crazy shit to the neighbourhood...get our own fireworks happenin', and have a BETTER night than all the sheep will, without a doubt.

Nothing out of the ordinary at all.. either kick back and watch tv until my eyelids sink out of my head or do something with friends. Don't worry Vamp, you probably won't be alone. If you are, I'll probably be talking to you on msn lol.

If going out into the city for NYE makes someone a sheep, then cover me in wool and call me sheepish.

For the last million years my family has sat around and watched Groundhog Day then my mom & dad will fall asleep at 10. I'll stay up and watch West Side Story and fall asleep at 11:30


This year I have plans with my girls so who knows what will end up happening.

ya i did the same thing, i gotta totally trashed a drank a half bottle of UV. i dont really remember a whole lot but i woke up with black marker all over my face and my nails were painted black and pink.:o

I also worked on NYE - a ten hour shift, but I got to finish @ 9pm... luckily.

I quit all drugs last week :( .... but it was a fun new years in my apartment watching T.V .

Another year and still alive. Hopefully I'll get healthy soon

it was a new year like any other....


we made our usual ritualistic sacrifice of a lemur
to the fire twins Gat'ganogle.
It had to be specially prepared under particular
circumstances. This took 235 days as shown in the dark book of
Koth.

then, at 6 minutes after midnight we all had a drink of
blood from the freshly squeezed heart of an albino lion,
each of us facing in the direction of our mentor stars.

after that we all had a couple of beers and played scrabble.

I usually count down and stuff, but me and my 2 brothers and 2 of my friends had to party because my mom wasnt here all night :cool:

That's nice. Yeah, different. Unusual... ;)
