Kate Beckinsale is destroying the horror genre
 

Maybe I am wrong but the last 2 horror films that she was in SUCKED. What the Hell is she trying to do tank the whole genre.

Kate, word of advice, take your fucking clothes off, then I will watch. Your Romanian accent in VanHelsing tanked, and if you are going to do an accent you have to do it throughout the whole film, not going in and out of it.

The CGI in that movie also sucked but thats another thread.

As if Underworld wasnt bad enough they are making a sequel. What are they going to do have her walking around throwing doors open through the whole film. She threw open more doors in that film than I dont know what.

I will admit that she is HHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTT especially in a tight corset and 6 in heels but she sucks as an actress.

And dont give me any shit about Underworld being an action film, it has Vampyres and Werewolves its horror so fuck you in advance.:p

Van Helsing was a pile of poop that not even hot Kate could save.

yeah she has had some bad acting, I didnt much care for it in Helsing. I think she should stay away from horror, she's so much better elsewhere.

I havent really seen her in anything else except for Pearl Harbor, and anyone could have pulled that role off.

I stll say she is HHHHHOoooooooottttttt though.

With that said...understanding that Underworld was an action movie, I thought it was a pretty good flick.

Never saw Van Helsing.

But, it's the same thing with Hellboy...for some reason, people tend to think that was a horror movie as well. I don't get it.

Was Teen Wolf a horror movie? No. It was made to be funny, not scary. Underworld wasn't trying to be scary, so it wasn't a horror movie. It was an action movie. It has horror ELEMENTS, but it's not horror.

Sam is right, she has never been in a horror movie.

I don't think it's fair to blame Kate Beckinsale for Van Helsing and Underworld being bad movies. Let's face it, it doesn't really matter who played her roles in those movies, they couldn't be saved.

I think she is a good actor (not great, but good) There are much worse actors out there.

I think it all comes with time (i.e expierence) for actors/actress to see what is a good movie and not so good when they read the script. Or i would hope lol.

i opened this and said wow she was never in a horror movie.....so thank god someone pointed it out

horror or not .. you cant blame her for being in bad movies.

All of his recent movies have been major bombs. I think the last good movie he did was Pulp Fiction.

I wonder if he can't choose scripts, or he's just never offered any good ones.

he goes in cycles .. he'll be in a few good movies, then he gets offered a ton of work and not all of the movies are stellar ..

Face off was a great movie too..

But despite the movie .. he's always solid ...

you get good actors in bad films doing a good job, just as you can have bad ones in good films ..
I blame the directors and producers myself ..

i actually saw it in the theatre and once i got over the dissapointment i laughed the whole way through ..

Come on man I was just trying to point out that the films were shit.

Horror or action call them what you want they both sucked.
