A little info...
 

Well I know questions about me and Nine are gonna come up sooner or later...So I might as well explain this now...Well a lot of you don't know that I have a seven year old son from a previous relationship...We lived a part for quite a while as he lived with his mom....I have always been a part of his life and been there when I could...Me and his mom just had some problems for a while....Well quite a few weeks ago we came to find out that he has Muscular Dystrophy...This was a total shock to us and has been quite hard to deal with...So me and his mom have decided to get back together...He really needs the both of us right now as parents...

i dunno what MD is, but doesnt sound good. I think that is a good thing to do ..... (what ur doing, that is). the most important thing right now is him.

Well I know people are gonna start asking about me and Nine and our situation...i figured this is the best way to explain it...several people have already asked through AIM.

Plus I just wanted to tell people, this has been a hard thing to deal with...And I guess it just makes it easier to talk about it...

Sis I really wish things were only imaginary....I mean what do I have to do post pics of my son and his diagnosis papers from more than three different nuerologist with his diagnosis of Duchanes Muscular Dystrophy? Believe me I really do wish it were "imaginary"..

Yes it's Duchenne's, sorry I'm a bad speller but that is what he has been diagnosed with...He had trouble getting up and down stairs and off the floor alot recently so his mom took him to a nuerologist, we thought it might just be something simple... but after running test his CPK levels came back over 10,000....Usually these are around 100 in kids without it...So after that he had a muscular biopsy on his right thigh...And it was confirmed after that...

well i have a strange view on life/death that would be extremely hard to explain

but in jist of it, all u can really do is enjoy him and make everyday count for as long as u can. i myself am not much of a god type of person, but i guess one way people would say it is 'thats how god made him'

its just a matter of... we all come into this world a certain way. i think for a reason. yeh, im confusing.. i know.

And yeah that's pretty much all I can do is enjoy that he is here with me now...It is a very tough thing to deal with though.

of course it will be hard for u right now but... overtime u will accept it. as will he when he is older. hell, good can even come out of this. like i said ive never heard of this before so maybe he can help spread the word one day, get people to think ya know?

just take it one day at a time and more importnatly, dont give up.

I am fine...........it was something he had to do and I would never stand in the way of his being with his son now. We still talk, and I will still always consider Kpro my best friend. All I care about is that he is happy and following his heart. He has all my support.
