1/2 n 1/2 i like the quality of the old stuff but i like the gore of the new stuff

I agree in some degree 60% old time 40% today!

I have a hard time watching old movies in general, but I think the older horror movies had more heart. Better storylines without the aid of modern day technology. (which is maybe why they had better storylines).

It depends on the Cuttoff....

Do you consider 80's movies old or new? where is the cut off exactly?

i like both. i really enjoy watching a old horror movie on tv. but i also enjoy the new stuff. iguess i just like horror, no matter when it was made.

I feel cacooned by n00bs :(

But about the movies, I really like older movies, theyre just..kinda..better and the new movies coming out don't seem to be very original, the themes, scenes etc are getting a bit used up.
IMO.

Ummm, yeah...that was a totally necessary statement.

You're a real people person, huh?

Give me old time horror movies any day.

Dark_Hero 10-20-2004 11:42 AM

Depends on how old you call old....

I apreciated Nosferatu for what it was....being such a classic and all....But that old is just a bit much for me

But they started getting good not long after that....the 30's-40's Universal Monsters are about as old as I can take

Anything is fair game as far as Im concerened, after that straight up till tomorrorw

dantehorrorfan 10-20-2004 01:13 PM

Many of the new films are just fine, but I think over all the older one's are better.
