looking for a cool horror movie

i dont have a specific movie in mind i was just wondering if there are any trippy horror movies, that arent just about some people killing other people or anything. are there any movies that are kinda like a fairy tail type of thing that have a kind of alice in wonderland gone psyco feel to them? i dont know why but something like that seems like it could be a badass movie.

Donnie Darko will trip you out, and has an Elfman feel.

i dont know if a killer snowman sounds very cool or scary (no offense) but as i said something with an alice in wonderland gone psyco feeling with killer fairy-tale type things. i liked the beast from house of 1000 corpses, but i thought the rest of the movie sucked. and also i got the fairy-tale idea from the end of cabin fever where shes going through the hospital and theres a guy in a bunny suit, and i was thinking it would be cool if it showed the bunnies mouth with crazy looking teeth with blood dripping down and a scalpal in the bunnies hand with a body in front of him. it wouldnt make sense but stuff that isnt explained that is creepy like that adds to the mystery/scariness of the movie. you might think im wierd but i still think it would be cool.

did you ever see in the company of wolves? It's old but it's a horror version of little red riding hood.
